An unexpected gift! (Dragon's Dogma 2)

So the other day while playing Dragons Dogma 2 I got the Craziest gift, A Preserved Medusa head!

Like this thing is an actual effort work to get properly so the fact someone just gave me one was crazy, Im kinda mad I didnt catch their PSN account name. However I do remember their arisen was called Sara, so, if you see this for some reason, the gift shook me enough to spend hours on this mess of a comic XD (also thank you)

Context for the people new to these dumb crossover things I do. My Trinity is from their own fantasy setting and they got stuck in the Dragons Dogma one, due to how the chaotic magic that sends them in these works, they are registered both as Arisen and Pawns (they miss hearts but not will and it aint from a dragon XD) . Now I am planning to go deeper into how much of an anomaly they are in the setting , hoping to make a comic where they provoke an unmoored world situation differently than the canon arisen, since the Pathfinder will sturggle to even perceive them for a chunk of time (hoping to go deeper in that as well.)

"DO NOT QUESTION THE FLIPS" (Tainted Grail: FoA)

Ok so...I might have been getting a little too much into Tainted Grail. Game definitely hooked me like a Skyrim (sadly without mods,crossbows or vampire hunting).I MIGHT have some Ideas that I might sketch up but we'll see.

I will say that my current run is at act 2 and I got a reeealy neat Dual Sword Build on Beth. Honestly as I play Im considering making a Galmar and Cerise run more. We'll see.

Shame bodies only come in a slim-ish variety, and there are no crossbows, but Ill work with what I have. I can atleast get the character vibe going, the rest is my imagination and potential comic skits as usual XD

As a concept I do love the idea of Beth being super antagonistic to someone being in her head, gives me good grumpy dynamics, poor Arthur gotta deal with that XD.

"Cerise and her Giant DumDums (Unholy Trinity)"

I pulled myself to do a drawing to celebrate everyone here. With none other than my 3 Red head degenerates(what a shock), the Unholy Trinity.

Im not particularly happy that I reached 33, pretty much havent acomplished much in life, basically unemployed excluding my commission work that Ive been trying to keep cheap and afforfable for years, and in a very odd and kinda half-depressed mental state these months/year. BUT I do want to say that I appreciate everyone here, that joined in cause they saw fanart of a character they liked, maybe just really liked the artstyle or only a specific piece and stuck around, and expecially thanks to everyone that got in and stuck around for my 3 Vampire hunters and their shenanigans. It really means a lot to me, and I appreciate that people are getting a kick out of the dumb both in-setting and crossover stuff I do with them.

I might not say it often enough, but it truly means a lot.

After the Cerise piece that was an "ants view" kind of piece, I felt like making a Galmar one that is a "birds view" as an excercise, cause honetly his physique is pretty challenging to make in dynamic perspectives, so there you have it.

Was playing Dragon's Dogma as Cerise and while I did start some DD2 themed sketches I wanted something more doable in a smaller amount of time. So I went with something from her actual setting. Was in the mood to draw something edgy with her. Always fun to go in the more "twisted sadist" side of her. And to be clear, while Cerise is a very charming and diplomatic sort in general that would aim for the least amount of bloodshed for practical reasons, expecially with the Trinity, she can be extremely petty and ungodly cruel. This Rocco guy helped a cult do some terrible thing including innocent deaths and such, he would deserve either death or a long prison sentence for his indirect contribution, but Cerise is upset about the huge chunk of time he took from her hunt of the cult, so she aint doing this for moral vindications XD Ultimately it follows my whole thing with her basically being a sort of "villain-ish character" that happened to join a techincally "good inclined" faction XD

Little tribute to the supportive Shade (Hades) As im starting to finish most of the objectives post game of Hades 1 I felt like using the last bit of inspiration for the final entries of my list. One of my favorite consistencies of my runs being the supportive Shade in the arena. I still have one piece with MegxZagxThan planned, but Ill only start working on that when I get the special interaction with the 3 of them ingame, still waiting on that since I maxed romance with both of them.

Unholy Trinity and the Garm chewtoy (Dragon's Dogma)

While I am working on multiple things, I do have a bit of Dragon's Dogma energy in me, with me getting back into DD2 as a sidegame and all the DLC hype. So I made another really dumb crossover comic with my Unholy Trinity in the Dogma setting.

Ironically even if its a 3 Arisen, 1 pawn situation, I still feel like many can relate to the action itself of someone getting dragged across the map by a damn Garm XD

Also funnily enough, without colors this could be either the Bathalli desert or even BBI XD (ignoring some of the DD2 armors)

OK SO, apparently DRAGON'S DOGMA 2 is FINALLY GETTING A DLC AND HOLY SHIT IM SO EXCITED AAAAH!- cough- anyway:

I seriously cant believe that I got back into the game yesterday, mostly to level up my alt accounts I made exclusively for the game when it came out, I complained and cried in the corner that we are never getting a DLC at this point, AND THE DAY AFTER, Capcom drops THIS NEWS

Norse-esque frost area(my favorite thing ever in fantasy stuff) new monsters, story and an actual endgame to the game!!!

Beyond excited, now Im just gonna be impatient as hell for it, but by all means I want them to cook as much as needed XD

As far as the piece goes Dragon's Dogma 1 and 2 are my favorite games to have my Unholy Trinity remade in (only games where I can have all 3 at the same time in a party) so I had to sketch something up with them to celebrate.

Orpheus and Eurydice sketch (Hades)

Man, this duo might be one of my biggest standouts of the game. Absolutely LOVED these 2 and how they work in the story. And my god their "Good Ridance "song, gets my eyes all teary whenever I listen to it. I cant even begin to explain how much that song touches me from a vocal/melodic standpoint...especially when they pull a duo.
