Fic Name: They Were Named After You

Summary:

such a weird thing to say when I still vividly remember my 8th grade years. When I still remember the stress of grade 12. It's the first time I'm going to stay away from my home for a long period of time, and the first time I am going to be solely responsible for myself.

I've been pretending that I don't feel affected by it in front of my parents cause I didn't want them to think I was scared. But some part of me is. because my mom won't be the first person I see when I wake up everyday or my dad won't be the one dropping me off to school anymore. My friends won't be the same either, and talking to new people face-to-face scares me a little too much. I hear stories from my dad about how his professors used to be -for a lack of a better word- psychotic, and I wonder how I will manage. I've grown up with my mother's cooking and adore it with all my heart. the prospect of not eating it everyday is a daunting one. I'll be in a new place where the language is different, and I wonder how I'll learn to communicate with others. If I will understand my subjects. If I'll find my people.

But a part of me is also exited i suppose. this is a step closer to my future, my dreams, my goals. I wonder what I'll learn, who I'll meet and what moments I'll collect along the way.

So, this "person" (which is most likely a scam bot) had commented on a posted I had put up on the 3rd, saying that they had to "tell me something" and that I had to DM them whenever I was free.

So, I did.

I sent them a message asking them what's going on, and then they sent me this (third image). Immediately I knew that this was going to be a scam because:

1, the image is completely fake

2, I'm like 100% sure that to appeal it i would have gotten an email that would ask me to appeal it on the official fucking website

3, i'm sure that Tumblr would not share any info of reports from other users to this person since there is confidentiality between the alleged user and the platform themselves.

4, the fact that the image looks more like a dossier than a user report is so funny to me. On top of that, there is a threat for IP restriction for your device (which i don't think Tumblr sorry can perform in the first place, I THINK), insanely large graphics, and a direct contact for the victims of these scams to use
