when I saw keegan-michael key and oscar isaac as horatio and hamlet they made this really moving choice in the last scene where kmk played horatio’s line “never believe it I am more an antique roman than a dane heres yet some liquor left” as a joke, like he lifted the cup to his face in a very goofy way and rolled his eyes, so that he was turning his impulse to kill himself in that moment into a way to make hamlet laugh one last time anyway that’s hawkeye and bj
