I thought I was prepared. Ever since I started book one I saw tik toks about elorcan not getting details, and I was like “okay whatever, what are u gonna do”

BUT I WAS NOT PREPARED. NOT ONE BIT.

WHAT DID LORCAN DO? “So Lorcan did.” DID WHAT??? DID WHAT?????? TELL ME RIGHT NOW.

AND WHEN I SAY I AM IN LOVE WITH ELIDE AND LORCANS STORY. THE WAY LORCAN (a 500 year old fae) WOULD BOW TO ELIDE (a 20 something old mortal) MAKES ME SUCH A MESS.

I know in literally every other relationship in the tog series, (and like all of the sjm series), all of the men would bow to their woman. But something about elorcan just makes it even better. I think they’re my fav relationship. Obviously rowaelin are still the best cause they’re og and awesome, but elorcan has got me GOING.

The joining scene was 💋🤌. I think she wrote it so good, like the way she focused more on the feelings through all three of them and not just the physical intimacy. And the way their relationship stayed the same but also evolved throughout the books, how Kieran was always there for poppy and she was always there for him was so sweet. I don’t understand how people don’t understand that poppy and kieran’s love for each other is different than the love poppy and casteel have for each other.

also the scene where he lost control……. oh my god, it lived up to my expectations so good.

AND DELANO. DELANO!!!!!! he might be my favorite character throughout the series, he’s such a baby and so underrated and I love him and perry. ALSO REAVER!!!! he’s so funny and his sarcasm is on point every single time.

Ares and Aphrodite were in a relationship when Aphrodite was married to Hephaestus. (affairs were very common throughout greek myths). So Ares and Aphrodite one night were together in Aphrodite and Hephaestus’s bed, but Ares stayed too early into the morning. The Sun God Helios saw them together and told Hephaestus what he had seen.

So obviously instead of going to confront them, Hephaestus needed a plan to embarrass them and catch them in the act. He created a magical set of chains (which were invisible), and put them around his bed. With the trap set, he told Aphrodite that he was leaving for a few days, and the moment he ‘left’, Ares joined her in bed once again. But when they lied down, the chains kept them interlocked and not able to move.

So Helios alerted Hephaestus, but before Hephaestus went back into the room, he decided to gather the other gods to witness what happened. Zeus and all the other olympians arrived to see Aphrodite and Ares caught in bed together. Finally, after the party of watching the two being embarrassed, Poseidon unlocked the chains, and Aphrodite and Ares were whisked away to separate locations.
