Hosoyan liked English. He didn’t have to be particularly good in it but just knowing that he didn’t hate it makes me stupidly happy. 

“Ah! I do have something unique! My finger!! The thumb on my right hand has a different shape from other people. That’s because I was born with something called hypderdactylia and had six fingers. My family was worried that I would be picked on because of it so they had the sixth finger surgically removed. But thankfully I was never picked on about my thumb. Sometimes children can be cruel but there wasn’t anyone like that around me (when I was a child). Because of this finger, I’m left handed and use the right side of my brain a lot, which is said to be good for the arts.”
