You guys miss oma au? I might make a comic of an alt universe of it!
Cloudia and Shellsea
The character shellsea belongs to: @labbeon
Ralsei is evil? Broke. Ralsei is a Titan? WOKE.
Here's my design for Titan Ralsei, a theory I like exponentially more than Ralsei being secretly evil. He's the same lovely fluffy boy we all know and love, just entirely made of pure darkness and big enough to hold Kris and Susie in his hands.
Made some emojis so you can make anyone you want kiss lmao
Happy Aubrey birthday XD?

Quick tips for Writing Villains!!
☆ A villain who thinks they're the hero is scarier than one who knows they're evil.
☆ Give them something they love. It makes everything worse.
☆ Their logic should make sense, even if their actions don't.
☆ The best villains don't monologue. They ask questions.
☆ Not every villain needs a tragic backstory. Some people are just hungry for power.
☆ Let them win sometimes. Repeatedly, it raises the stakes.
☆ A villain who is polite is more unsettling than one who screams.
☆ They should change the hero just as much as the hero changes them.
☆ Give them a genuine friendship or loyalty somewhere. It humanizes without excusing.
☆ The scariest thing a villain can do is be right about something.
☆ Not every villain needs to die. Some walk away. Some become allies. Some just... disappear.
☆ A villain with a sense of humor is dangerous because you almost like them.

Grandparent Dialogue
“Look, mom! Grandma gave me some of your clothes from the 90s! So cute! Not sure if I can wear this to uni though, might get dresscoded, and we don't even have a dresscode.” “*horrified silence* … MOOOOOOOM.”
“Back in my day, when I wanted to see a friend, I could not simply text I had to–” “Send a pigeon?”
“What are you doing here? We just had lunch, you are not getting sweets!” “Grandpa said it was okay!”
“Kids, come down! Grandpa is here!” “Grandpa? I thought he died.” “No, I am quite alive and have quite the good hearing, young man.”
“Look, we found some love letters you sent to grandma!” “Ah! Do not read that!” “What? Why not?” “They are… private.” “Private? … Oh my god. Did your generation... did you sext over letters?” “No! Now give those here right now and get out of my hair. I have… things to do.”
“Why do I have to eat my veggies? Grandma doesn't!” “Because I no longer have any teeth. Now eat.”
“Who taught you that word?” “Grandpa did!” “Dad! You cannot teach her such language!”
“Whoa, grandpa! You can dance!” “How do you think I got your grandmother to fall in love with me?”

'Tourist x Local' Dialogue 🗺️
“Dangerous area for a pretty thing such as yourself to be wandering alone.” “What? Why, it looks pretty safe…?” “Oh, it is. Just full of tourist scams. I can show you the real deal.”
“Wow. Is it always this pretty here?” “Yeah. Well, maybe a little prettier today.”
“Oh my god, we're gonna miss the last train! Come on!” “Calm down. Train's never on time. We got time.”
“Don't let go of my hand.” “Yeah, it's pretty busy. Wouldn't want to lose you…” “Hm? Oh, sure. That too.”
“Wait, slow down. Say it again.” “You’re getting it wrong on purpose, aren't you?” “Maybe I just want an excuse to hear you repeat it.”
“You’ve been staring at that view forever.” “I’m not looking at the view.”
“You know, I've actually never done this before.” “What? It's like, the most famous attraction of the city!” “Yeah, a tourist attraction! I'm barely ever even in this part of town.”
“Cancel your reservation. My grandmother said she will not let you think that stuff is real local cuisine. She'd been at the stove all day and the family is feral for dinner already.”
“Next time, you'll get to show me your city, alright?” “Can't wait.”

How to write Apologies!!
✮ Bad apologies are worse than no apology. Your character says "I'm sorry you feel that way" or "I'm sorry but..." and wonders why the other person is still mad. They're not actually taking responsibility, they're deflecting. Or they apologize way too much for little things, making it about them and their guilt instead of the person they hurt. Show the difference between PERFORMING remorse and actually FEELING it. Real apologies are specific. They name the harm and they don't make excuses.
✮ Sometimes your character doesn't know how to apologize. They were never taught. They get defensive instead. "Well you did X" or "I wouldn't have done it if you hadn't..." They're so afraid of being the bad guy that they can't admit they messed up. Show that resistance. The pride and fear mixing together. The way they're digging themselves deeper while trying to save face. They know they're wrong but they can't make their mouth say the words.
✮ A good apology is vulnerable as hell. Your character has to sit with the discomfort of hurting someone. Look them in the eye. Say "I fucked up. I'm sorry. You deserved better." No buts. Just acknowledgment. And then they have to wait for the other person's response. They don't get to demand forgiveness. They don't get to move on until the other person is ready. Show that powerlessness (Please.)
✮ Actions matter more than words. Your character can say sorry all they want but if the behavior doesn't change, the apology is worthless. Show them following through. Doing the work. Proving they meant it. Or show them failing, apologizing over and over for the same thing until the words become meaningless. Sometimes people don't get second chances. Sometimes the damage is done. Show the consequences of waiting too long or not trying hard enough.
Commonly Confused Words (2)
disassemble vs. dissemble disassemble means to take something apart: “We disassembled the cabinet together.” dissemble means to hide one’s beliefs or feelings: “She knew she had to dissemble her feelings to avoid a lecture.”
imply vs. infer imply means to hint at something: “He implied he was having an affair.” infer means to make an aducated guess and acts as the opposite to imply: “She inferred that he had been disloyal.”
disinterested vs. uninterested disinterested means being unbiased about something: “I asked an impartial third-party to get a disinterested take.” uninterested means being indifferent and having no interest at all: “I tried to show him, but he was uninterested.”
empathy vs. sympathy empathy describes feeling what someone else feels: “His natural empathy meant that he was always feeling bad for someone.” sympathy is a feeling of compassion or feeling bad for someone: “She showed no sympathy for her victims.”
grisly vs. grizzly grisly means something disgusting, horrible, or repulsive: “The killer left a grisly sight behind.” grizzly is a large species of brown bears: “No, you cannot cuddle the grizzly!”
Part 1
Ways to write Shy Characters!!
By the way, I'm a really shy person! Actually, that means I'm describing myself here, lol. :9
✧ Shyness is about fear of judgment and negative evaluation, not energy. Shy people WANT social connection but they're afraid of being embarrassed, rejected, or judged. It's not that people drain them (that's introversion), it's that social situations feel dangerous. They want to join the conversation but can't make themselves. They want to be included but are terrified of saying something stupid. Show the conflict between wanting connection and fearing rejection.
✧ They rehearse social interactions beforehand and replay them afterward. Planning what to say. Imagining the conversation. Then afterward analyzing every word they said, every reaction the other person had, looking for signs they messed up. The conversation happens three times (in preparation, in reality, in anxious replay.) Show this mental process of over-preparation and over-analysis.
✧ Physical symptoms are visible and make them more self-conscious. Blushing. Voice shaking. Sweating. Looking down. Fidgeting. And they KNOW people can see it, which makes it worse. They're not just internally anxious, their body is broadcasting their discomfort and they're mortified about it. The visibility of their shyness creates a feedback loop of embarrassment. Show them being painfully aware of their physical responses.
✧ They're often more comfortable one-on-one than in groups. Groups are overwhelming, with too many people to monitor, too many potential sources of judgment. One-on-one feels safer because there's only one person's reaction to track. They might be quite talkative and comfortable with close friends in private but go silent in group settings.
The villain who knows too much!!
𖤐 "I know what you did before you became the hero of this little story. Do you want me to tell them or will you?"
𖤐 "You're not here because you're righteous. You're here because it's personal. Admit that and we can have a real conversation."
𖤐 "You think I'm the monster. That's adorable. I think you're the monster who found better lighting."
𖤐 "I've read every file on you. Every decision. Every casualty you called acceptable. Don't lecture me about lines."
𖤐 "The difference between us is that I know exactly what I am. You're still telling yourself a story."
𖤐 "You could have stopped this three moves ago. You didn't. Ask yourself why."
𖤐 "Go ahead. Arrest me. Lock me up. Nothing I built dies with me and you know it."
𖤐 "I watched you make the same choice I made. The only difference is who was watching."
𖤐 "You keep saving people. I keep asking why those people and not the others. Neither of us has a good answer."
𖤐 "You want to know the worst part? You understand me. Completely. And that terrifies you more than anything I've done."
𖤐 "Every villain you've ever stopped had a reason. You never stayed long enough to hear mine."
𖤐 "I used to believe in the same things you do. Then I watched what happened to the people who believed in them."
𖤐 "You're very good at the heroics. You're less good at what comes after. That's where I live. The after."
𖤐 "Do you ever wonder if you'd have ended up here if someone had just listened earlier? Because I do. About both of us."
