전혀 (neg.) – not at all 별로 (neg.) – not really 거의 (neg.) – almost not at all 조금 / 좀 – a little/a bit 꽤 – quite/rather 아주 / 매우 / 참 – very 진짜 / 정말 – really/a lot 완전 – completely 너무 – extremely/too*
*너무 has a negative connotation of something being excessive, but if said twice (너무 너무) it is a colloquial way of exaggerating in a positive way.
Examples: 1) 이 김치찌개는 너무 짜요. – This kimchi stew is too salty. 2) 내 여자친구는 너무 너무 이쁘지. – My girlfriend is so pretty. 3) 그 파티는 진짜 재밌었어요. – That party was really fun. 4) 한국어 좀 힘든 것 같아. – I think Korean is a bit difficult. 5) 요리를 전혀 할 수 없어. – I can’t cook at all.
