Idea Two - Raffle Radar*
*Name still under construction
Overview
Scared of missing out on the next hot drop? With Raffle Radar you can enter all the raffles from each retailer all from the one place.
With retailers doing online raffles for limited clothes and footwear it can be a very frustrating task entering all these different raffles on each individual retailers site. Raffle Radar gives you a centralised hub where it will enter the raffles for all the retailers you select for the product you want saving all your shipping and payment information on the app it self and rather than supplying that to each individual retailer.
Pros
Massive help to the retailers. Allowing people not to give up half way through a raffle form for a particular retailer which takes the business away from that retailer.
If there is a product you really want it can be massively time consuming signing up on raffle forms. Having a generic form you do once for each raffle/retailer makes things a lot easier on the user
Cons
Getting the retailers on board.
“New app fear.” I heard about this term recently that a lot of people wont put sensitive details into an app thats not a big name brand (makes sense).
How it might be built?
I believe that mobile/tablet may be the best outcome for this product but believe it also can be done in a website or progressive web application so i think covering all of these grounds will be the best idea. I will be creating prototypes on Figma with the possibility of the application build using Flutter.
Who is it for?
Two main target markets spring to my mind for this product. Firstly anyone who enjoys owning or wearing limited clothing or streetwear. Streetwear sprung to fame in the 90s but is now one of the biggest styles of casual clothing with major brands teaming up with streetwear and skate brands such as Supreme.
Secondly, resellers. Resellers are people who purchase these products high end or limited products for their retail price and resell them on sites such as StockX for a much higher price tag.
What’s the business model?
Another free application with a premium membership. Premium can potentially give you more sign ups for the raffle giving you a better chance of getting the product.
Again another great application for inline adverts. Having the partnered retailers run adverts and promotions on the application is another way of generating income on the product.
