the song “there is a light that never goes out” started as soon as i got prepared to start your reading so okay, hello. light is big here. because this reading is about “a guiding light” it’s as if to say: you will always have our guidance. you will always have the wisdom within you. the insight is never going to run out. the term “infinite wisdom” just came to mind and it made me think of a waterfall? the takeaway from this is that you can always tune into the voice of your guides if you have a question on your mind or need someone to turn to. listen within. and know that it comes from unconditional love. if you work with angels, that’s them. your spirit guides are never going to be annoyed with you or demand anything from you. they are there to gently listen and guide. when you feel helpless and unclear, know that your inner world holds all the answers you could need. you can feel comfortable and safe in turning to that.

I made a vague post about the 4H/10H axis and how the two placements relate to each other, but I promised to go more in-depth on all of the houses. First of the angular houses I'm doing is the Imum Coeli, or 4th House. It is traditionally ruled by Cancer, and represents our early childhood, our home, and the native's parents and lineage (or mother).
4H Moons are such crybabies, but they reserve this emotion for their family/chosen family. They have a very hard outer shell. They also have a very important relationship with their mother figure, either very close to them or their mother relies on the native for a lot.
4H Mercuries are also crybabies. I said in "Good Luck Finding" that it was difficult to find a person with this placement who could have an objective conversation. I stick by that statement, with the caveat that subjectivity in some conversations is needed!! <3
Hugs to all my 4H Malefics (Mars, Saturn, Pluto) because I just know that your family puts wayyy too much pressure on you.
Same with any 4H Neptune and Uranus placements. The family dynamic was probably so confusing, and their early life was probably too much movement and chaos that sticks with you into adulthood.
4H Suns can be so invasive to the privacy of others! Leave me aloneeeee!
Signs in the 4th House/IC:
Aries 4H: A catch-all bad placement for the 4th. These people most likely grew up with fighting parents or siblings, and they often take the brunt of others' problems in the home. This "brunt" can manifest as mental and/or physical health issues. Very used to slamming doors. Very bad at feeling emotional discomfort because they were never allowed to take things slowly or express emotion comfortably within the home. They get angry very quickly, but they get over it just as quickly. The native's mother can be a violent person, in some cases. She may just have prominent Aries/Mars placements.
Taurus 4H: These people have a very strong support system. I think this is the best placement for the IC, which makes sense as you can look at your 4H as a sort of second moon sign, and the moon is exalted in Taurus. They tend to have nice, big family homes, and parents who were really invested in the native's success and physical and emotional well-being. Their mom is probably a great cook, or someone in their family is, and has passed down recipes to the native. She may have a prominent Taurus/Venus placement. These individuals are the most comfortable at home, and often retreat to their families when things get stressful.
Gemini 4H: Always on the go. This native was definitely praised as "the smart one" and has felt a lot of pressure from their family to succeed in academia, their career, and their personal life at once. Their family relationships can be confusing to the native, because they had to be many different people at once. Perhaps the native's mother (or both parents) acted very "childish" in terms of their responsibility to the native as a child. If not, this person could be the "baby" of the family and could have to deal with being treated like a child by their family into adulthood. Their mom could have a prominent Gemini/Mercury placement.
Cancer 4H: Lovely, comforting people. This is the IC in its natural home. They grew up with very emotional, but supportive parents who were invested in the native's well-being and happiness. Probably discouraged by sibling disagreement. These individuals love a family reunion or just celebrating important holidays with those close to them. They hold a great deal of sanctity for their home, family, and ancestors, especially those with personal placements here. They desire to follow in their parents' footsteps, or are just very similar in personality to their mother or both parents. Their mother may have a prominent Cancer/Moon placement.
Leo 4H: Big and loud family. Either the native is supported greatly, or gets lost in the shuffle. They definitely hold a lot of pride in having a nice home and being successful for their family members, which can make it hard for the individual to carve out their own path to success in adulthood, without considering their family's opinion of them. Their mother can be a very proud and social person, with a prominent Sun/Leo placement. She could have encouraged the native to be socially active in their youth, and the native can base a lot of their success on their social life in adulthood.
Virgo 4H: These natives grew up with parents who set strict standards and always expected them to rise to the occasion. Definitely likes to keep a clean house and bedroom, as they grew up with high standards for cleanliness. They can have a mother who works in healthcare, which may influence their tendency to consistently take care of others. She may have a prominent Virgo/Mercury placement. Libra 4H: Jealousy is all I have for these folks. They probably grew up in a nice home with all the amenities they could want and supportive, loving parents. Their mother is concerned with her looks, and this rubbed off on the native. Definitely a rare occurrence for these natives to get yelled at or yell at others. They love to decorate their rooms in their personal style, and were encouraged by their parents to do so. They get very agitated during familial conflict. Their mother may have a prominent Libra/Venus placement.
Scorpio 4H: A notoriously difficult placement, especially if you view the IC as a second moon sign. There is probably a family history of trauma and abuse, a cycle that is most likely repeated in the native's life. If not, the native might have a very secretive mother who controls the natives upbringing far more than others. She may have a prominent Scorpio/Pluto placement. Sagittarius 4H: Tough placement, because these people can feel like they have multiple ancestral roots that are incompatible. Their mother could be from another country, or they could have moved around a lot when they were young. They could also have been privy to their parents' odd political or religious views. The native may disagree with their mother (or both parents) on politics or religion, leading them to move far away from their family, either physically or mentally. Their mother is usually loud, or has prominent Sagittarius/Jupiter placements.
Capricorn 4H: Grew up in a very strict household. They might have taken on parental responsibilities for younger siblings or themselves at a very young age. Their parents strongly believe in "traditional values," which led the natives to have a very strong sense of obligation to their home, family, and community. They were very busy in childhood, whether that was with chores, school, or extracurriculars. They are always expected to be great at what they do, and they took on too much in their childhood. This can lead to the native being emotionally stunted in adulthood. Their mother might have prominent Capricorn/Saturn placements. Their father might be a controlling person.
Aquarius 4H: Very confusing childhood. These native's parents were probably "oddballs" in terms of parenting, or they might have been public figures. Either way, their childhood was very atypical and potentially isolating. This isolation is sometimes intentional on behalf of the native's parents. These natives can resent their parents for their unusual upbringing and strive to change in adulthood. Only child placement, as well. Common only child placement, but those with siblings may have a large age gap as well. I've also seen individuals with this placement have a mother who lacked boundaries with the native, leading them to grow up confused in terms of their relationships with others. These individuals also could have lacked rules or responsibilities laid out by their parents, leading them to be a bit unfocused on household responsibilities in adulthood.

I see you had a great and very high position of authority in your past life. As indicated by the Hierophant and the Emperor, your position was highly regarded and respected and you had authority over a type of society or group of people. I see you being a very secretive person as well, meaning your position afforded you a lot of privacy and separation from the people around you. It could’ve been that you were a part of a religious institution or somewhere where traditions were really important and significant. With you being so powerful, it may have been that you spent a lot of time alone, and had very few people you could relate to. This gave you an air of importance and austerity, but it could’ve made you feel isolated from others. I see that it is possible that your words held a lot of say over other’s and you may have used this to your advantage. I see that karma is also making it so that you learn the value of the progress, in your past life you may have been granted power without actually working towards it (it honestly gives royalty vibes!) so now in this life you have to work hard to gain respect and accolades. This past life karma is very heavy! I feel for my pile ones to be honest. I think you have been through some bad times in your life, things that have felt like the world was ending. I see that you may have also experienced betrayal and sorrow from other people around you. Some of you may have felt stuck in the places you were in, needing to advance but not being able to. My advice is for you to tap into the inner strength that your soul possesses. Focus on the every day stuff, and try to take things day by day, step by step. Life is here for you to learn and enjoy the progress, also don’t be afraid to trust other people in spite of your past betrayals. No man is an island, and normal people need to lean on each other in times of hardship. In your past life you may not have been able to build strong communities in a healthy way. Focus on finding places and things that help you meet other likeminded people that you can lean on when life gets in the way, as it often does. Live your life morally and truthfully, and practice mindfulness rituals that bring you mental and physical peace. I see you probably died at a very young age. I think you were somethings like a soldier or something similar, where you worked a dangerous job or profession that led to your death. I think you were a person who was very active and vibrant, but this incident made it so you didn't really get to accomplish much in your life. I'm seeing a very specific situation where a mother is reluctant to let her son do something, specifically sign up for military duty. Maybe as a youth you were very inspired and wanted to pursue this against the people in your life's wishes and it led to your demise. I think this past life was active but fleeting, it was cut short by circumstances out of your control. I think you were too trusting on the authorities that you served and they proved you wrong, leading to a sense of betrayal that clings to your soul.

Your past life lesson was one of discernment. I see that you needed to learn how to weigh your options and be clever about your choices. Your past life may have been short, but you were the type of person that was naive and may have rushed into things quickly and been easily fooled by illusions of grandeur. I think you seem very level-headed, but you may lack in the emotional department, it's okay to lean into the spiritual body as long as al things remain balanced. You need to let go of your fear of losing control and let the universe guide you in some things. Don't fee out of place because you haven't planned things out fully, it's okay to give up the reins for a while and just let life happen as it goes on. I think the most significant parts of you past life were about dealing with relationships. I think you were someone who did not really value the relationships you had in your life. I think this area of your past life was very tumultuous and brought much heartbreak to you and the other people you loved. I think you did not put out enough effort in this part of your life, ,perhaps you were focused on things like work or career. You neglected those who you were responsible for and may have been harsh and difficult to communicate with. This is only a small part of your past life, but it was the one your soul learned the most lessons from and was marked the most deeply by. I get the feeling that the other aspects of your life were great, and you broke a lot of karmic cycles in them, but in doing this, you neglected to nourish your relationships/friendships/and family ties. Specifically family ties relating to your children I see.

You needed to learn that love is not something that can be maintained by only one person. It takes two to make a fulfilling relationship work, whether it is a romantic or familial relationship. I think your main past life lesson was about learning how to find that balance. You needed to learn that giving is just as important as taking, I see that you may have been one to take too much. I think since you were so preoccupied with other parts of your life you neglected your most important relationships. I think you could've been very fulfilled but the other people around you did not feel that way. This lesson on self centeredness is what you needed in order to reincarnate in another life, and to learn more about the aspects that your soul neglected in the past.

Your past life karma is about nurturing and relationships. I think your soul carries this need to be there for everyone at all times. You may have grown up as the oldest sibling, or just been in a position where you were the most giving. This is what your soul needed, so your karma appears in this way. I think you are a very communicative and innovative person, and you love to share your gifts with others. Although I see a dynamic where you are now the one who gives too much, and doesn't receive as much. You may have had unfulfilling relationships in this life, and this is because your soul is seeking to understand others through all sorts and types or relationships in order to make up for its lack of care in the past life. It may be the case that you are overlooked or left behind at times, probably because you are afraid to assert yourself and be the bad guy. Like I said before, your life's relationships could be very heavy and difficult! It has not been easy for you to navigate them, and you may feel sorrow when seeing other people have successful and peaceful relationships while you don't. My advice is that you do not become afraid to leave! I think your soul reincarnated with a deep wound of abandonment, because of all the karma it carries. It's like it wants to redeem itself so badly that it loses all sense of self and it may have put you in bad positions. I think you need to direct this abundant nurturing energy you have inwards too. You may be so preoccupied with other people that you neglect your own self. I think it is normal and okay to have issues in relationships too, so don't feel like it's the end of the world if you need to bring up issues/deal with conflict. I think you need to tap into a more vibrant and outgoing energy, when you feel like your best self you attract other people who are on the same wavelength! It is okay to leave behind the people who do not serve you best and find the ones who fit into your life. You can then focus your giving and nurturing love towards them, in a way that doesn't harm you and doesn't put them off. This is a lifelong lesson that you will need to learn, so don't feel bad about not getting it right the first time, remember everything happens for a reason!
