he stands still. his optics widen. this can't be real, right? "optimus?" he takes a slight step forward. "old friend." and that's all. ratchet runs to him. he wraps himself around optimus and collapses. optimus let's him, and holds him. tears roll down both their cheeks, and they're happy.

🏡 I think he's got plants. Like, a lot of plants... he finds organic life so beautiful and interesting and he just became a plant dad... ratchet on the outside thinks its ridiculous but in reality, he's glad that optimus has found something that he finds solace in
❓️ hmmm... he's got issues with his one optic after cybonic plague. it'll unfocus, feel kinda dry, completely just stop processing and seeing... the others notice sometimes and try to get him to rest, but he just brushes them off
