( Diego Calva, 301 (33), Régulo Ailin, cisman, he/him) Underneath the sparkling sky, did you see DIEGO CALVA being tipped by the Cauldron? No, that's just RÉGULO AILIN, who is the YOUNGEST LORD from AUTUMN COURT. I heard that on most days they're STRATEGIC and OUTGOING but if you catch them on a dark night, they can be COMPLACENT and DISHONEST. But if you really get to know them, you'll know that they vibe with a warm sunset peaking through the autumn leaves, holding onto your siblings as you run through the woods, and the glow of lava underneath a layer of ash.( Mystic, est, 23, she/her )

Once she settled and managed to see that her commander and second were accommodated and put to work, she set out to find Régulo to show him the Autumn's quarter, finding him in Sterallia's common area. She could feel how other faes looked at her, at them. The Ailin family was respected with a hint of fear in it and, frankly, she liked it that way. When she finally spotted him, Catalina cleared her throat to get his attention. Not loudly, not exaggerated, just enough to make her presence felt.
"Our quarters have been properly attained for us, if you can follow me, brother." The ghost of a polite smile formed on her lips but it wasn't quite kindness that she wanted to show. To the outside courts, the Ailin's were a united front and strong family and she wanted that to be the image everyone had of them, no matter what it was like inside. Appearances and what faes believed of them, how they were perceived were part of a good ruling. "This way." She waved her hand towards the common area exit and and gave him a nod so he'd follow her back to the Autumn's quarter. "Have you been conversing with other High lieges?" Catalina asked as she made her way.
Régulo stayed in the common area waiting for the Autumn Court quarters to be prepared and ready. He could feel it, everyone's stares and whispers. Though he knew that he was nowhere near powerful enough to pull off the stunt the perpetrator did, rumors still ran wild.
As far as the court knew, Régulo was already once a murderer.
"Yes, Catalina" Régulo said as he followed his sister. Despite everything the Ailin's have been through, Régulo still had the best in mind for all of his older siblings. No matter what that may be. "The High Lieges are still are suspicious. They've mostly moved on to more pressing matters" Like figuring out why all of them were in Starlight. He turned his back as they walked down the hallway to check that no one was listening. "I am sure you have plans here..." They were not back to the safety of the autumn court yet, but Régulo knew that his sister had some scheme.
☆゚*·゚ELLIE'S CURIOSITY COULD sometimes be helpful and she knew that now. The entire Day court always looked down on her love of stories, her desire to lock herself away in a world that was safer than what lay out there in Prythian. She'd managed to find the library quicker than others, but she liked to think she had kind of a nose for that kind of thing. By sweet talking one of the librarians, she was allowed to check out some of their fairytales. So now, Ellie had found a comfy couch and had books stacked all around her. She'd been so focused on them that she didn't hear anyone walk near her.
But when she saw Régulo staring at the painted constellations on the wall, Ellie's face lit up. She couldn't tell you what that meant, but she liked his presence, that much she understood. "Hi!" Her cheeks flushed a bright red, but she thought it was simply because she was warm. "I think it's wonderful!" Closing the book on her lap, she stacked it back with the others and focused her attention on him. "Whoever is doing this wants us all together for a reason. I still think it has something to do with these stories. There are creatures in here that sound far too mystical, even for Prythian."
Régulo turned to look at Ellie. For whatever reason, the Day court fae seemed to be blushing.
Régulo was not known for making the first move. Nor was he known for catching on to anybody's feelings. If anything, the youngest Lord of the Autumn court was oblivious to most signs of emotional attachment.
"You're face is red. Do you need a healer?" Régulo asked nervously. He did not want anyone to risk sickness because of the stress all of them had been through.
The soft slam of the book brought his eyes over to the tome. Stories, that would be an interesting motive for the murder. Régulo tilted his head. "You might be on to something..." He mumbled before approaching Ellie closer, looking over her shoulder at the book.
the high lady of dawn had allowed herself some time to calm down once her court had been somewhat settled, and then, deciding fresh air would do her good, she’d ventured out to explore a little bit. she’d wandered into the market, looking over different trinkets and allowing herself to be roped into trying — and then buying — some grapes and persimmons, which she was snacking on as she wandered. she’d ended up with a few trinkets held in the same basket as the fruit, unable to help herself after she’d come across a woman who had talked to her and told her all about her life and the meaning behind each of the things she sold, all of which she’d made. and she supposes one benefit to her wandering through an unfamiliar market in a previously unknown court is that fewer of the fae there knew her. she was just another face in the crowd. but everyone had seemed so happy.
she hums to herself as she slips through the crowd, head tilting when she spots a familiar face — one of the lords from the autumn court. she knows her court allies more with the solar courts, but she’s always tried to keep good relations with the seasonal courts. she approaches @rxguloailin, offering a smile. “hello, régulo.”
Régulo had been wandering through the stalls of Starlight, both giddy to be resolved of his guilt and nervous that the murderer would come for him next. He could imagine it, taking a hit on the Autumn Court's youngest and then forcing everyone to Autumn.
No, no he could not let that happen. He could not let anyone find out the High Lady's secret.
Régulo flinched a bit when he heard his name. He would never get over the sound of his name in a peaceful greeting. "High Lady of Dawn" Régulo bowed his head. He was not familiar with much of the solar courts, but he was grateful for anyone treating him with politeness. "Are you finding ways to distract yourself? Despite everything"

Régulo had once more broken away from his family to figure out his thoughts. Not only was there a murder, but that murderer was extremely powerful. Though, because of that, Règulo realized that no blame could be placed on himself.
He made his way to the tavern where he heard that other displaced fae were gathering. Régulo settled in a chair facing a quarter to the door, noticing the other fae near by.
Régulo slightly hid his face. Just because he would not be blamed for this, he would still be blamed for his sibling's mistake all those years ago. "The blame is not mine" He said mostly to himself and no one else.

Where: STELLARIA PALACE, Autumn Quarters
Who: @courtlights ft Ellie
Régulo was torn on how to think of all this. Being winnowed against his will to a court that should not exist was not something the young lord was particularly fond of, but on the other hand there was absolutely no way he would be blamed for this, unlike the crime he took the cover for all those years ago.
He sat on the edge of a sofa, between full out panic and incessant smugness. They were all doomed with this development, but at least it eliminated the Lord out of the suspects.
Régulo spotted Ellie not far from the hall. Maybe she would know something with those stories she mentioned earlier, before everything was winnowed to the Starlight Court.
"Hard to believe a place like this exists" Régulo said while staring at the painted constellations "Even more difficult to believe that we're all together again".

— scene: common room for autumn court's inner circle, 11pm.
since arriving, ren had opted to stay in the barracks, never having gotten comfortable with the plush comforts often provided to a high family's inner circle. tonight, however, he'd instigated a brawl that landed him banned from the austere quarters until further notice — the justice of which he was not quite sober enough to determine.
following directions given him by a rather impatient sentinel, he stops when he catches sight of regulo. leaning in the door, he raises his eyebrows in question. "is there a sofa i can sleep on in here?"
Régulo nearly jumped out of his skin when Ren poked his head through the doorway. He was, once again, avoiding the anger of his antagonistic older sibling.
Ren seemed like a military type, just the sort of type to intimidate the young lord. Régulo did not want a fight or confrontation.
"Erm...." Régulo stuttered. "There should be one in the back of the room. Away from my quarters"
she had snooped around and learned what she could about the other courts, but she’d ignored scandals she found irrelevant. they did not define a person, and what the world knew may not even be the truth, anyways.
she softens a little, as he eyes hannelore nervously. “she won’t harm anyone unprovoked.” she reassures him. as protective as hannelore is, she won’t attack anyone without reason. “it’s nice to meet you, lord régulo.” she offers a smile, but her aversion to touch prevents her from offering a handshake, despite this being a lord from another court and etiquette stating she ought to.
Régulo kept his eye on the crow. He was never as much as an animal lover as the rest of the autumn court, preferring to admire them from a distance.
"Pleasure to meet you" The Young Lord murmured quietly. He preferred to stay a distance from other people. You never know who your enemy was or who would blame you next.
Who: @ofstarsfalls
Where: In the hallway, ever vigilant
Régulo had creeped away from the crowd and the odd voice that followed. Too many people interested in his business. Too may people suspicious of him.
The accident haunted the young lord wherever he went. It was not his fault, yet he voluntarily took the blame. There was not a soul around that understood, and he assumed the rest of the Autumn Court would not want him around after the voice.
He passed through the hallway and next to the High Lady of the winter court. "My apologies" Régulo bowed his head politely to the High Lady. "I did not address you properly your highness"
☆゚*·゚ELLIE'S EYES MOVED up towards him, now feeling bad. She didn't want anyone to feel less than perfect about themselves. Shaking her head, she reached out, gently placing her hand on his arm. "No, don't say that. I'm sure you do wonderful things for your court!" Ellie explained, standing on her toes, trying to cheer him up. If she knew where the kitchen was, she would've baked him something. "No one tells me anything. I'm used to it by now." Ellie chuckled, shrugging her shoulders. "It's okay though. One day, all the stories I know will be helpful, I just know it."
Régulo smiled lightly. "I have sacrificed the most for the autumn court" He said rather grimly, refusing to elaborate. If only the other courts knew of Régulo's guilt, how he protected his High Lord from his own actions .
It was then the Lord's turn to feel bad. "You're still a Lady of Summer, they should include you more" Régulo had heard of the tragedy the ruling family had faced, yet they weren't hiding the truth like the Autumn court had been.
The young lord tilted his head. "What stories?" It could have been a hint or a clue. One of the autumn priestesses had mentioned a human tale that mentioned Midas.

she had made a silent promise not to start any trouble while they were at the winter court. but despite keeping to the shadows, simply watching over the fae from starlight, her being on edge was bound to lead to trouble eventually. so being away from the crowds — at least for a time — would be best.
she can’t help the silent satisfaction at the way the fae startles when he sees her and hannelore, kept to herself of course, but she shakes her head when he speaks.
“our apologies, my lord. we did not mean to startle you,” she recognises him from… the autumn court, she thinks. but she does not know if she remembers correctly, not having kept track of who was from where as well as she ought to. “this is hannelore, i am astoria.”
Régulo did not mind running into Astoria. He was not familiar with most of the starlight court, not that he wanted to become any more infamous than he already had.
He eyed the raven nervously. That bird could claw his eyes out if it so wished. Still, Régulo bowed slightly and introduced himself. "Lord Régulo Ailin, from autumn" If this fae really did not know who he was, then why was he fearing her?
IT WAS A TERRIFYING MOMENT. Remembering. But, it was necessary, as necessary and effortless as breathing. Though, for a moment, it did hurt. Like a beginning of a migraine, blooming behind her eyes and sending strobes of light behind closed eyelids. However, she accepted it swiftly.
what else she could have done, anyway?
Gliding down the corridors, Yiren was tasked with a mission to track down her siblings, first, then the rest of her court. The shadows and darkness spoke little to her in this place, and while night came swiftly, it did not have the voice she was used to hearing. This darkness was different. More heavy and more... foreign. Definitely more foreign than it was minutes ago.
she barely registered the splash of liquid upon the hem of her dress, the light shove making her stumble a step backwards.
"No harm, no harm." Yiren said, smoothing down the wrinkles on her dress. "We're all a little... distracted right now. Are you looking for someone?" she asked.
Régulo panicked as he watched the liquid spill over the High Lady of Night's dress. Oh mother what had he done? "I am still very sorry. Please, accept my help"
He hastily handed Yiren his handkerchief left in his pocket. "Just the rest of my siblings" Though Régulo figured they would rather he stay outcasted instead of together.
A dry chuckle comes out of Dorian's lips as he shakes his head. "I meant— I'm surprised you even showed up here in the first place. Seeing as everyone thinks you're a murderer and—" He waves his hands a little dismissively. "all that." Sure, Dorian knew Regulo didn't really kill anyone but he still wouldn't say what really happened and who was to blame which was incredibly suspicious and Dorian was loyal to a fault to the High Lady of their court and Régulo's sister. This was a huge issue for her, it could take a dent in her credibility and the trust of their people. Dorian was going to be as nasty as he could with Régulo until he told the truth.
Régulo crossed his arms and flinched from Dorian's laughter. They all knew Régulo took the blame to protect his sibling from more attacks. From more mistakes.
If Régulo would protect his family at all costs. Even if some were less than happy about it.
"I am a lord of autumn just as much as you" He rolled his shoulders, steadying himself. "It would be impolite not to attend" He sighed "Besides, its not like we can leave now anyway"
Liv had always had her suspicions about the family, but knowing what she'd known about Regulo, she got the feeling things weren't quite what they seemed to the rest of the world. And she was nothing if not interested in secrets. Reaching out a hand to him, she smile sweetly. "Well, something like that. But, well, it's quite attractive honestly. You got the whole 'bad boy' thing going for you and all, you know?" Liv smirks, pulling her bottom lip between her teeth as she studies him.
the seraphim slips from the hall, hannelore appearing ahead of her and she holds out a hand, fingers stroking over the crow's feathers before she hops up to rest on astoria's shoulder. she hates being so out of her element. a part of her hates how happy she was with the false memories — not knowing her father, that her brother was dead, that her mother loved her dead husband more than her children... she's a traitor. to her court, to herself, for the joy she had of not knowing.
she steps away from the doorway, over to the windows, to look out at the dark expanse of land outside. astoria sighs softly, not turning when she sees the reflection of someone else appearing from the hall. "needed to get away from the crowds?" she asks. "or are you here to visit with hanni as well?"
Régulo tried to avoid trouble wherever he went. Too many people blamed him for things that were not his fault in the first place. Timidly, he tried to find a quiet spot inside the Winter Court palace.
He was slightly startled by the appearance of the seraphim with a intimidating looking crow on her shoulder.
"I was hoping for some time alone, my lady" He backed "Though it seems like you found this place first. I will take my leave"

Dorian figured there could be worst things than being trapped in a castle that had a library as vast as Winter's. Sure, being locked in and not being able to go back home was certainly an inconveniente but Dorian was patient and hopeful that the most intelligent people in the land were at this moment under the same roof and they would be able to uncover the mysteries that worried every fae's mind.
After the ominous voice, Dorian was one of those people that simply continued as normal. After all, he was nothing but an Emissary and a guest in this court and there was nothing he could do about it, although he was curious. He took his wine and wandered away from the crowds in case the other faes started to panic and without noticing, someone slammed into him. No other than the disgraced son of his own court. "Ah— it's alright. I'm surprised to see you here, my Lord." The words, even though polite, sounded almost sarcastic coming from Dorian who have been worried about Régulo's actions and how they might affect Cari. She was his sister and the High Lady after all, and the one person Dorian cared about the most in all Prythian.
Of course it was Dorian. The last thing Régulo needed was him poking around in his business.
He cringes when Dorian offered a sarcastic greeting. What more would he expect from an enemy? Dorian knew the truth of Régulo's dilema, on how he was truly innocent, yet continued the lie throughout the courts. "Is there a reason? We're all stuck here until the voice gets resolved" Régulo spoke truthful and timid.
☆゚*·゚SOMETIMES, IT WAS difficult being the youngest in a court. At least that's what Ellie thought. She felt like no one ever wanted to tell her everything and when they did, she was just a little kid. Her dress fit her personality, light, bright, yellow, and full or promise, but it also gave her a way to hide. The sleeves allowed her to hide her hands in them, protecting her from the worry that she would never be good enough.
And now, the voice had only made things worse. Because it scared Ellie, more than she realized. She didn't know what to do, or how she was supposed to react. All the littlest summer court lady wanted to do was cry, and run to the library and drown herself in books. But she had no idea where that was or even who to ask to find it. The voice only made her want to find it even more, and so that's when she decided. She spun on her heels, and went to leave, searching for books. Ellie hadn't expected to bump into anyone. Her hands immediately went over her mouth. "No, no, I'm sorry. I never pay attention to where I'm going. Everyone says it's really big problem. I guess I'm not a great lady of a court," Ellie explained, chuckling softly to herself.
Regulo could relate to being the youngest in the family, if responsibility was not pushed upon him so suddenly.
The voice non-withstanding, Regulo was already on edge and running someone down and spilling all of his wine did not make things better. But this young fae seemed just as awkward as Regulo himself, apologizing for events that were obviously not her fault.
"If you're not a great Lady then I'm no better as Lord" The words did not come as Regulo willed them too. Lighter than he meant it "Sorry, ma'am" Great. How long would it be until this nervous conversation turned into a cycle of never ending 'I'm sorry'?
