“you say that like the rest of the group would be able to get anything done without me,” shinwoo retorted with a cheeky grin. he loved his group. he did. but they were all dipshits, and that was just the facts. “god, i can’t imagine how hard that shit must be. it’s hard enough to write songs when ceos aren’t trying to weave wild lore into it,” he answered. it wasn’t his cup of tea, but he could see why fans liked it so much. he hummed, playing with her hair as he took a moment to think. “soon-ish. maybe at the end of the summer. we all are old now, though, and have our own shit. we don’t need to promote nearly as much.”
“well then that’s their fault for not using those two years without you wisely,” jei laughed, “they should’ve been practicing being able to think on their own, they had more than enough time.” after years of knowing donny it was hard not make a dig at him if the opportunity arose, but she really wouldn’t mind if sam left to tour or anything. that wouldn’t stop her from complaining about it, but that would be mostly joking as well. she sighed at the mention of terra’s storylines, “i have no idea how the writers come up with everything for terra, but at least it makes my job easier. i get the shorthand for the storylines and can go from there.” she paused as she listened to him, a soft smile growing on her face again as he spoke. “speak for yourself, i’m not that old yet. you’re not wrong though, everyone used to promote so often. maybe it’s better not to jump right into it now. i’m sure your fans would like it though.”
