“I understand the need for that because of time restraints, but it’s a bit of a bummer. I remember the first few times we went on music shows, I felt like a mime most of the time because we mostly did handsyncing to pre-recordings. Like… If I’m only going to do one thing, I don’t want to see people saying that I’m just faking it,” Noeul said
“oh, yeah-- i’ve heard that most of the bands who go on these music shows just have to pretend to play their instruments. it really is a shame. i understand that the broadcasters want to limit variables of things that can go wrong, but surely there’s a better solution.”

she giggled. “i mean, usually it’s not something i’d brag about, but it seems to have helped me out today,” she pointed out. “yeah, that’s always nice too. and shapeless outfits fit a little nicer.”
“well, all bodies are built different. there’s no wrong way to have a body. and this kind of outfit really seems to suit you,” she smiled.

“if they even got to record live at all-- i can totally see that group being permanently slotted to a prerecording position just because of that,” ahmi pointed out.
“have you ever had blue light glasses? are they worth the fuss?” dongwoo mused aloud, rubbing the back of his neck. “my literal career is being on a computer, but the eye strain is fucking ridiculous. if it makes a difference, maybe i’ll cop a pair.”
“i have a pair, but i don’t wear them enough to be able to really notice a difference. if you think they will help you with your screen issues, i think you should buy them.”
“you know, i haven’t ever dressed particularly masculine before. i didn’t think it would suit me, but i kind of like it,” hoa admitted, looking at her outfit for the idol project audition stage. “the suspenders are really fun…”
“juliette did suspenders looks a few times-- i always remember thinking they were very cute! this is just more proof of that, if you ask me! you look adorable.”

“i don’t think that’s a fair comparison at all-- you’re omitting a lot of additional circumstances,” ahmi answered, chiding gently. “focus more on what you’re doing and less on what others are, perhaps.”
