“come with me,” soon they had glasses and a bottle of really good wine sunni had found while somewhere with king. “being a stylist is a lot of work, did you know that? it’s what wine helps with.”

“telling of……i dunno but gimme a sec i’ll be able to tell you.”

“but, now i’m really curious. curiosity killed the cat and all that. you can’t leave me hanging like this..”

“a couple months,” bomi admitted, sighing a little. “it’s been a year.”

“oh,” sunisa didn’t want to overstep, she knew how she personally was with talking about things. so, she did what she knew best. "how about an i don’t know mixed with some wine? you game?”

“i dunno. i was happy not putting labels on everything but you needing to is very telling,” he teased. “halfsies it is, then.”

“telling of what exactly, kingsman?” 

“methinks you protest too much,” king snorted, rolling his eyes. “whatever you say. if it’s not a date, though, i don’t gotta pay for it.”

“how is stating something protesting?” she quipped back, grinning a little. “how about we go halfsies?”

“i…….sunni, i really don’t know.”

“i can’t really tell you if that’s a good sign or not. has it been an i don’t know for awhile?”

“Because the world is a dark and scary place..”

“If i get a long-hair wig and change my style, i should be able to start in Unpretty Rapstar. I’m sure i’ll be the baddest bitch out of them all!" 

“Not to mention like two tons of makeup. Could you rap in heels?”

“good to know you’re not vain and self centered. bein selfless is an attractive quality you know,” king teased her (though, who was he kidding? of course he damn well meant it too). “this is true– i spend a lot of time with you brain. i’d like to think your brain and i get along pretty well. do it– lay everything that’s wrong with me out on the table. i’m a big boy– i can handle it. hit me.” he smiled a little. “yeah; i suck. show me how it’s done.”

“Have you tried.. Y'know, not thinking? Maybe listen to some nice music or white noise. Meditation is supposed to be a completely peaceful state when your mind is silent. Regardless, it isn’t for everyone, I guess.”

“I don’t really have an off button for them, but I could try too. Did you start doing it for a purpose or just felt like meditating? You could show me how the master does it?”

“I’ve recently started meditating, and all that I can say is that it’s a life-saver. Truly. You should try it out.”

“Meditating stresses me out. I’ve tried it and it messes with me worse than stress does. It doesn’t make sense why, but it’s happened every time. I think it’s the whole being alone with your thoughts.”

“Maybe you can add a little bit a color at the ends or somewhere,” she suggested before hesitantly taking a second glance at her friend. “Maybe.” Yunji laughed, partially just to show the younger girl that she wasn’t really as reluctant to change her hair just a little bit as her words implied. Yunji plopped down in the chair nearest the trunk, nodding as she spoke. “I’m good with sushi. If you want, I can order while you decide what you’ll do to my face this time.” 

“That’s not a half bad idea,” Sunisa grinned as she unpacked what she wanted to use. She wasn’t one to force anyone to change what they liked or felt comfortable with, but she was always up to suggesting. “Sounds good to me, I definitely need to figure out what I want to try. I got a bunch of new make up and you seem like the perfect test subject,” She looked back up to do a quick scan of her face, going back to grabbing things like a mad woman. “I have menu’s in the box over there if you need them.”

“I think it’s odd that Pokemon Go died out. I downloaded it recently and it’s rather addictive, but I’ll look weird if I go around catching Pokemon ‘cause no one else is anymore. I’m always late on the trends.”

“You could just bring back the trend? I’m sure if you asked around some people would go with you. I never seemed to have time to go catch them, even if I did I don’t have the best luck with games.”

“it’s weird that i knew that and you didn’t. you spend, like…every day with yourself. how do i know that you’re a troublemaker and you don’t?” king snorted, reaching over to ruffle her hair. “you’re fine. you’re think-skinned. i’m sure you’ll survive. i mean, i’ve definitely said worse.” he laughed, nodding. “i mean, that we both are.” king nodded again. “definitely a good thing. being bored is the worst,” he muttered as he played with a spoon. “okay, but like…to be fair…..that was really funny.”
