“I came across a couple of photos of myself when I was cleaning earlier from when I first arrived in Seoul. I actually don’t think I’ve seen someone try so hard to look like a badass as I did then as a teenager–it’s no wonder I got turned down all those times at auditions,” Ohkyung said with a dry chuckle.

“you were young. i think most young people go through a phase. yours just happened to be a bad boy phase. nothing to be ashamed about. if anything it seems to give you a good laugh.” she said turning away with a smile. there were definitely things she regretted doing. looking back she could see how stupid it was. but when your young you don’t know or just don’t care. she turned back around with a questioning look. “but what’s so appealing about being a bad boy?”

instead of getting a cat of her own she went down to the local cat cafes. you could say she was in heaven. even now she enjoys going to the cat cafes to have a bite, alone and sometimes with a friend. today she decided she wanted to bring a friend. maybe share the joy that cats brought her.

“if you’re a keyboardist, why are you on idol project?” she said mirroring their confusion. it was strange to have an idol who hasn’t been trained like other idols to be put on a show like idol project. “and if you know your company won’t push dancing on you again why do you want to get better? enjoying dance, no matter your position, is great. but no one really cares how good you are if no ones really going to see you do it.”

she’s never had a business email. it’s always been her company that controlled the business aspect for her. “get rid of it. or block the companies you want nothing to do with. that stupid tea company is still a buisness wanting to make money. how they get that money may be a scam. but they now that there is someone out their willing to endorse them. you can’t blame them for trying.”

sohui has learned the hard way that the career she’s chosen will never be fair. heck life isn’t even fair. “no one said things would be fair.” she was an idol for 9 years. half those years haze was on a hiatus. all her training had gone to waist. “but you have to pick yourself up and try your best. that’s all you really can do.”

“Okay, I have never practiced dancing so long in my entire life,” Eli admitted. They danced every now and again, but it was for fun and not anything serious. Idol Project prep was a whole different beast. “I’m going to get used to it, I have to–but seriously, I don’t know how y’all keep it up. Tell me your secrets.”

“you better get used to it. say hello to the rest of your career.” she gazed to the side before turning back. that was one thing about being an idol that was never going to change. “i guess the real question is how bad do you want it?”
