“i’m going to be honest, i have no idea what i’m doing,” lance said with a laugh, pushing his hair back. millenium had him and junghoon doing the variety circuit for a while, and despite no one knowing who they were, they kind of gained a following– to the point that when one of the shows needed a 1-week fill in MC, they’d actually given him a call. “i feel like i’m gonna fuck all this up. i just need to apologize in advance.”

“yes you do. you and junghoon have been stars of this media for the past few months. there’s a reason for that,” mikey encouraged him bluntly. “you know what you’re doing. just stay loose and think of it as a fun promo.”

“it still happened though, right? i think that’s cause for celebration,” mikey insisted, smiling at him. “you and your group should be very proud. it’s a huge achievement.”

“you know, sometimes my job is a real fucking pain in the ass,” taehyung grumbled, scrubbing his face with his hands. “with all the new vocal trends these days, i’m forced to add so many filters and shit when i’m mixing, and it sounds disgusting more times than not. but it’s my job to comply so i can’t even do anything about it.”

“i can’t say it’s ever to my tastes-- it does seem annoying to be the person to do all that if you’re not onboard,” mikyung commented. “do you not get any input?”
