“it’s not creepy though! it’s like when a tv is on and an interview with you pops up or something– that makes me happy! so does little bitmoji jiyoung, okay?” he insisted. he just really didn’t want to be seen as a stalker or something dramatic like that, when in actuality it was just fondness and affection. “that makes sense. i used to brush up on old empire songs all the time, but i stopped. partly because i don’t really have to perform them anymore, but partly because it’s funnier on variety shows when i forget my own routines.”
“okay, okay!” she laughed, squeezing jaemi’s leg. jiyoung obviously didn’t think it was creepy; it was sweet that seeing her bitmoji made him happy, and that he stopped to watch her interviews. “it’s not creepy. it’s sweet and it makes me happy that i make you happy.” it was still a little hard for her to wrap her head around the fact that she made anyone else happy sometimes. the thought alone of forgetting her dances was enough to mortify her. “oh no, i could never. even though my teacher tells me i don’t have to keep going over them, i’d rather be safe than sorry.”
