“nathan uses it all the time. he basically only speaks english.”

“so does your father-- you’re surrounded by it. you have no excuse.”

andrew paused for a second, smiling. “you know, i kind of felt like it would be.”

she smiled. “i love you, you know.”

“when i get home, will he be too big for me to hold him?”

“sweetie, he’s only a couple weeks old.”

“i…yes. please. please tell me.”

she smiled brightly. “it’s going to be a boy.”

“i just don’t use it as much.”

“i doubt your siblings use it that much.”

“They seem like they’ve been very accommodating, at least. Do you have any other performances planned for the tour, or are you just spectating for the rest of it?”

“i’m done now-- i wanted to go on, but between andrew and the doctors, it wasn’t happening.”

“you don’t know how grateful i am for xinyi.”

“you two make a formidable pair.”

“You know I’ll support you no matter what, but I think it’d be a real shame if this was the end for you.”

“next time the baby is kicking, come call me. then i’ll run in the room and tell dad to shut the heck up.”

“i’ll keep you in mind.”

ok so lucy is 34 weeks pregnant

this is kind of what she probably looks like

aka she had her last stage yesterday and probably spent all of it sitting in a chair

she found out the baby’s gender in october-- it’s gonna be a boy

she has trouble breathing sometimes bc the baby crowds her diaphragm

“people pull out the best for me”

“oh, how dare i think otherwise.”

“no, not anymore. my family kind of cut me off a couple of years ago,” sinitta admitted.

“well, you have a new family now.”

“i never wanted to. i’m a dancer.”

“you can dance solo, can you not?”

“it’s nice seeing new places, i’ve been able to explore for the most part.”

“what’s your favorite stop been so far?”

“honestly? beats me if i know, we did have that weird cutesy stage with kissing you and gee and baby baby, but the more recent stuff is far from the stuff we did at the start.”

“yes, but you weren’t saddled iwth it for more than a few comebacks at least?”

“Lucy! This isn’t the Hunger Games. You’re coming back eventually, right? I don’t want to think of doing this if you’re not around anymore. I mean, I can hold down the fort for a while, but this can’t be the end of the road for you. I’ll never see you again if it is.”
