ladies: you can’t fix a toxic man. if he’s manipulative and rude and abusive at the beginning of a relationship, he’s going to continue being that way until it resonates with him that what he’s doing is wrong. no matter how many times you tell him, you can’t make him realize it. forgiving him and giving him chances even after he’s treated you terribly is encouraging him to keep doing it because he isn’t being punished for it. if someone is bad, they will stay bad until they choose not to be.
