But AHA yes this is Viceroy AU because I am in fact still insane abt that and ehehe. ANYway yeah so when it comes to Unagami we wanted him to be more involved with the plot and to actually play a role in the main story rather than show up like occasionally then bam plot twist he's a child. So instead he's the tutorial of the game, and was actually rather friendly with Jay, then getting hostile when Jay starts to work towards getting out of the game with the others.

Unagami is also a bit of a freak of nature, wdym he IS the video game but he also LEFT the videogame I ahhh. Anyway um at least for that part Milton Dyer has spaghetti code and that's how he accidently made a sentient video game child. My idea with that was since he was the tutorial guide he had a lot of knowledge of the game programmed into him and that's why he had an insane amount of control over the game compared to the other npcs.

Viceroy au western season edition babyyyy - Main idea for the season is it to play with stuff from your past haunting you, for example, Ice Emperor, Skybound, in Lloyds case oni/dragon puberty bec its funny (I promise I'll draw what I mean at some point, basically like horns and tail and that jazz). AND in this case keeping something from your partner (👀). So as I mentioned in a previous post, someone found out Mr E was built by julien in SOG, that someone was Pixal, and she kinda sorta kept it from Zane and it's been... three years (APPROXIMATELY we have not actually mapped out the timeline for that part lmao). This would take place after SOFS and before Prime Empire so basically a season 11.5. Pixal gets to be the main character bec she was so robbed in the actual show of having one and Kai is the secondary bec its a western and he has a very fun dynamic with Pixal; that we got like one scene of in the show T-T. This is also the season where Ultraviolet gets to take the stage as the main villain (with Fugidove as a bonus- once again blame @scottie-draws-sometimes /lh).

Pixal gets very little in the show but one thing that was emphasized in SOG is that she struggles to feel useful, as she was literally created to be an assistant. That would be explored in it as basically her job equates to law enforcement (as the actual police in Ninjago do jack all) so when Ultraviolet (& Fugidove) escape jail on a mission to do god knows what with old time artifacts she feels like it's her responsibility to fix it. But when blah blah Ninjago chaos bar fight chase happens and everyone gets separated due to a mistake Pixal made so she isn't really doing well because of that and everything comes bubbling up. The reason for the lie is more so to give something for Pix to overcome alongside the whole usefulness thing. One thing I really like about ninjago is when they give a character a meaningfull fuckup and has them overcome that (Take Jay in Skybound for example or Lloyd in SOG). This lie ("I wont keep secrets from you") is that fuckup. Gods I love pix so much I just wish the show did more with her wdym shes not gonna be in many episode of season 4 dragons rising ahhhhhhhh

ALSo okay Viceroy AU wise Ima be a nerd um okay so like Es redemption/season is a wee bit different because his main season is Prime Empire HOWEVER his full redemption is in Crystalized. Like okay in the original plan to make Mr. E be Echo they planed to have the reveal in SOG when he fought Zane, but AU wise this would actually happen in Prime Empire to keep the mystery alive (A character that shall go unnamed for now does actually find out in SOG who he is but keeps it a secret, so viewer wise we would know but Zane does not and Prime empire would be when he finds out). BUT ANYWAY Zane and E would get a scene together (Replacing the Mechanics kidnapping thing) where he tells Zane, however, due to a certain course of events, E does dip at the end of Prime Empire (I'm gonna draw why at some point hopefully). Then he would come back in Crystalized fight Zane again have a whole ass Spinel Moment and get redeemed (Unagami gets involved, much to Es dismay) and that's when they reunite. BUt um yea I love them so expect much more art (Hopefully)

Do not be afraid, Unagamis fuckass poytail did stay, but only in his like boss form? Idk what to call that tbh, and I thought the curly hair Scottie gave him was cute (I like to think Unagami stole it from Jay). BUT AU NERD STUFFF- One of the things Mine and @scottie-draws-sometimes AU changes is Prime Empire. It gets a complete overhaul, with the main things staying just being Jay still being the main character, the video game, and then Unagami. For right now, at least, the thing I want to blab about is E and Unagami's dynamic as it's gonna/has shown up in my art a lot. So, without going too much into it, we wrote the Mechanic out of Prime Empire and replaced him with Mr E. This is because the mechanic sucks. Okay, but fr its because to me at least it makes absolutely no sense how the guy who has called Zane an it to his face would give two shits about a sentient video game child. But you know who might? The guy who was also abandoned by his creator. Its abandonment issues, babyyyyyyy. For the villain side of Prime Empire, the main idea is, what if E found the video game before everyone else, went in and befriended Unagami, then made a plan to release him? Basically, he found himself a little brother.
