My work laptop fan needs replaced and I currently can not afford a new one, so I'm opening doodles for donations through my ko-fi.

To receive a doodle, donate any amount you'd like and leave a message with your donation of what you'd like drawn! If you need to send references, private message me on ko-fi after you donate. I will send your drawing through ko-fi private messages. If you'd like it sent to your email instead, I will need your email in the message.

Rent & Utilities post surgery!

@insomniouscreator /kippers and I have been out of work for about 2 weeks because of my gallbladder surgery. I was unable to drive and bc of that neither of us worked. Kippers is also going to be out of work for about a month because they work at a university and fall/winter breaks are upon us.

We need about $1000 to cover the bills or rent, and we should be able to cover the other. The breakdown is under the cut, as well as bsky links, and other pymnt methods.

REWARDS FOR DONATIONS:

Either Kippers or myself will draw something for the following tiered donations;

$25+ = Sketch or doodle of your choice.

$75+ = Flat color full body.

$125+ = One of us will draw whatever you want*.

(*within reason.)

We can do Human/oid, Furry/Anthro, Robotic/Mecha, etc. Be sure to have visual references, please!

Landlord made the rent higher and some bills have gone up, my family and I are in need of help.

An ex-colleague of mine mentioned yesterday that there may be contacts between Automattic and midjourney in that direction, but nothing is public yet and I don't have any more info. They probably won't have anything specific to share either, since they left the company weeks ago too. That being said:

I have no reason to doubt my ex-coworker word, they are a trustworthy person.

Tumblr's CEO has been absurdly enthusiastic (comically, even) about AI, and is a big fan of LLMs and 'AI' companies.

A deal with midjourney could solve tumblr financial issues (not the same company, but openAi is paying up to 5 million/year to news companies to use their content as training data... tumblr generates several orders of magnitude more content than any newspaper or any media company and it only would need a 20 to 30 million per year deal to be profitable)
