OPEN RP STARTER-King Avery Au. (OPEN MEANS ANYBODY CAN RESPOND!)
Avery had reacted out of pure adrenaline really, what was he supposed to do? The other was about to push him off! so of course he kind of leaned to the side and his hands just shot out andâŚHe pushed Derek off. By the time he went to reach for him, it was far too late.
Why had Derek tried that in the first place? They could have worked together- they could STILL work together. But Derek had seemed so set on keeping Avery away, and sure out of harms reach- but it wasnât fair! Why did Derek think he had to sacrifice himself, why hadnât he just listened?
He suddenly felt a cold chill run down his spine, and the feeling of eyes on him. He slowly looked up from the void, and turned his body slightly to look behind him. Averyâs eyes widened as he found himself staring up at a large eyeball, and the shadow that cast down upon him made his heart rate spike, fear wracking through him in waves.
âThat surely went in my favor, and as I knew it would- he has brought you directly to me.â The dark imposing voice spoke, the sound seemingly coming from all sides. âMe..? I- what are you..-â Avery cleared his throat as he was kind of at a loss for words for what exactly he was looking at. This had been the thing following him, the same thing that Derek seemed so cautious of.
He was going to say something, but he found himself becoming a little dazed the longer he looked into that eye. Like his thoughts were just seeping out of his head, and fading away into the air quickly after. In fact, it seemed as if the world was blurring together, and spinning at the same timeâŚ
And then yellow began to invade his vision, eyes narrowing as he tried to focus his mind or vision- any of them. But it almost seemed to make it worse, and suddenly his body felt a lot heavier. Then he was doubling over, and then throwing up a black viscous liquid over the side of the floating island.
He was too busy with the overwhelming nausea, and lack of control over his own senses that he didnât even realize the yellow tint that began to fade into his slime-based body.
