The thing is, though, is that I'm thinking that Ester is aroace, but she doesn't know that or have the terminology for it. Thus, if she romances someone, it's a combination of that, societal expectations, and not realizing that being strongly fond of someone—especially if they’re a man because she thinks she’s cishet— doesn’t necessarily equal romantic feelings.
I'm debating between Ester romancing Sebastian or Fenris. On one hand, I don't have a Hawke yet who romances Sebastian. On the other hand, however, it would be funny to have my Bad World State Hawke romance Fenris like Isaac did— the parallels keep going on and on. 🤔
I need to practice doing landscapes, so I tried to do a study with a photo of a lake I visited in Mexico as a reference.
I might give in and post the first part of my DA:I novelization fic that I finished a while ago, even though I had planned to finish the second chapter before I did so, but..... ̄\_(ツ)_/ ̄

Alright-y I've gotten past the prologue in Rogue Trader, and so far I'm enjoying it overall. I like the combat system and I do like the different ways you play your character so far— including with the heretic, dogmatic, and iconoclast system. I'm hoping this means there will be a lot of opportunities for roleplaying later in the game and that it’ll be replayable. My only companions at the moment are Abelard, Idira, and Argenta and I really like the first two so far. :)
However, some other gameplay mechanics have been confusing me, including the looting system. I also keep getting lost, but that’s me with basically every new video game I start, so…. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've joked about Casimir's low wisdom and how it's part of the reason of why he is the way he is, but man. 😔
Meanwhile, the manipulative politician guy gets a nat20 and critical success on deception, of course. What else did I expect l;kjhgfd
