Beautiful, smart, distant â a true ice queen as some would say. Born to a muggle mother and a wizard father, whoâs a member of New Zealandâs biggest wizard family, Ruby kind of grew up as a princess â no matter what she wanted, she got it; But instead of becoming spoiled, Ruby remained humble. The reason for it was her mother who was born into a rather poor family â a family who she gladly abandoned after she met Rubyâs father, since they considered Theodore Morrow a golden goose. No, Mrs. Morrow always made sure that Ruby appreciated everything in her life, and that âthank youâ was one of the first words the beauty learned; But her mother also made sure that Ruby was aware of all the evil in the world. She wanted to make sure that her daughter would never be exploited like she used to be or like Theodore almost wasâ and thatâs exactly why Ruby Morrow became known as Euleseaâs ice queen. When Ruby was sent to Eulesea, the girl promised not only her mother but also herself that nobody there would ever use her, causing the brunette to barely find any friends â to be honest, acquaintances would be the word Ruby would use. No, the Morrow witch never had the desire to have many friends â her family and her books were everything she needed, and everything she would ever need.
Thatâs why everyone was rather shocked when Ruby decided to become a Professor at her old school â after all, as a teacher you were forced to be social; You had to interact not only with your students, but also with your colleagues â especially in Eulesea, where they all considered each other family. But the young woman didnât care, because the desire to teach young wizards and witches was just too strong. And so it happened that the Headmistress indeed gave her a chance â in the end, if one ignored her rather antisocial and distant behavior, Ruby had been one of the brightest witches Eulesea had ever educated; If that didnât make her a perfect Professor, what did? As it turned out, Ruby had no real problems with handling the students and going along with her fellow teachers â except Professor Branson. In her time as a student, Ruby had always noticed that there was something off about him, and now that she had to work closely with him and every other Professor, the brunette couldnât help but get more suspicious about Atticus Griffinâs descendant. The witch never dared to say anything though, for now. Two things are for sure â one, the ice queen keeps a very close eye on the hotheaded Professor; And two, if something indeed may happen in Eulesea, she wouldnât think twice and fight back all the evil her mother had warned her about.
EVEN WHILE WE SLEEP â WE WILL FIND YOU
Astrid Keller; If there is one person among the student teachers that Ruby would rather see gone, itâs Astrid. Ruby has no time for Astridâs bratty Iâm better than you attitudeâ itâs everything that her mother taught her not to be, after all. It definitely will happen more than once that those two butt heads.
Marisol OâConner; Some people just donât take no for an answerâ well, and some people donât even hear the no. Whenever Marisol has a new great invention, she just has to tell someone about itâ and usually Ruby is her favourite victim. Since Marisol is helpless at taking a hint, poor Ruby will have to listen to all the details of the new inventionâ whether she wants to or not. And she usually does not.
Bok Ri Kyeong; Ruby isnât unhappy about the students that come to Eulesea per se; but she isnât a fan of Ri Kyeong, that much is clear. The way the girl uses people around her just doesnât feel right to Rubyâ and she definitely lets Ri Kyeong know that.
Hector Mendoza; Ruby feels for the dryad. In many of her studies, she was interested in the dryad population and thus, she feels as if she could help the boyâ of course, Ruby isnât the best at expressing her wish to be of assistance in case he needed dryad-help; After all, she read all the books. Hector however isnât really sure what to say to thatâ thank you might be a good start, though.
