quirrel was called by monomon to assist you and to rid the thing protecting her from you . seth was the one protecting nyleth from you , having stood there for a long time to stop people from passing him . quirrel’s task was finished after you broke monomon’s seal , but seth’s was never-ending , until his defeat by your needle .

both of their services stripped them of their memories . quirrel’s service for monomon , and seth’s service of guarding nyleth’s heart from you . but that wasn’t ever a bad thing , was it ?
