i have huge issues wrt how claudiaβs 3x06 story was handled and how the general racism of characters in TVL has been played for a joke (this is not me saying that it is unbelievable that certain characters would be racist but it has not been treated w the care that it deserves and has not seemed to serve any larger theme/purpose) . this is my major critique of the season, but i do also have issues with the pacing . -spoilers under cut-
with this established (that i no longer have faith in a lot of the writing choices), does anyone else have weird/unreal feelings about the last 5 mins of 3x06 ? the scene between louis and lestat on the bench specifically reminded me of the scene in the cafe at the end of 2x06 ? they made such a big deal of saying that scene didnβt feel real, and alluded to it having played out differently potentially and nothing ended up coming of it , but i had the same feeling while watching the loustat bench scene and idk if im the only one ?
just to clarify i am not talking about the beheading i am specifically talking about the atmosphere + conversation that they were having.
