possible pro tip to dealing with hate anons;Ā Ā Ā if youāve received a hateful anon, i know it can be tempting, or it can be difficult not to reply back. whether itās to stand up for yourself against the hate, or because itās always nice to receive reassurances from your mutuals that the anon is just terrible. but my personal pro tip for dealing with hateful anons? donāt answer them. donāt make any posts about having received hate anons. donāt acknowledge them at all. just delete the ask, and move on. let that anon sit there at the other end of the screen, wondering if their ridiculous message(s) that they were too afraid to send you without hiding their identity reached you. let them sit there, constantly refreshing their pages, waiting for a reply from you that will never come. let them sit there, wasting their time on you, while you carry on, posting about the things that you enjoy, be that silly ooc posts, headcanons, replies, whatever. because letās face it, they want a response from you, and as soon as they get it, theyāre going to keep sending more. so what better way to deal with them than by just simply not giving it to them? eventually, theyāre going to have to realize that theyāre not going to get what they want from you and that there are better things they can do with their lives.
