I attended a campfire presentation by a park ranger who described Osprey as "both the pickiest and least picky eaters of all time."
They're the pickiest because they only eat things they can catch by plunging into at least six feet of water feet-first and are as close to their maximum carrying capacity as possible, to maximize calories-per-trip.
They're the Least Picky because so long as something fits those parameters, Osprey will go for it.
The ranger then showed us an extensive slide show of the local osprey in flight with their catches, which included: trout, carp, snakes, bass, eels, small sharks, ducks, surprisingly large catfish, a nerf football, muskrats, a summer sausage that fell off a boat, sneakers, a fish previously thought to be extinct in the area, a Barbie Doll, and another osprey.

Fandoms have a serious problem with how creators are being treated these days.
Fandom creators spend hours of their free time to create something to make fandom thrive...for free and for the love of the game.
And what do they get? A wholeass heap of fuck all. No reblogs, no comments, no nothing. And people are surprised that creators are dropping out left, right, and centre??
"Why is there no long fic anymore?" "Why did my favourite writer stop?" "Why is my favourite artist not posting anymore?"
I implore you to ask yourself: "What's the last thing I did to support my fandom? Does my favourite creator know they are my favourite? When was the last time I left a comment under something?"
Someone: *makes a post about how to make life easier for hotel housekeepers*
Inevitability at least ten people: ACTUALLY those housekeepers CHOSE that job so I am PAYING for their services and I refuse to do their job for them! And they're paid for cleaning the room so I won't tip them!
Congrats on being an asshole. This post was for people trying not to be assholes, and therefore not for you. Move along.
(Outside the states tips may be unnecessary, but IN the USA housekeepers are paid shit for doing the hardest jobs. Can you please just leave two dollars if you have someone clean your room? Christ)
Helping clean rooms today has once again driven home how much it sucks when people do things like leave literal PILES of greasy takeout containers throughout a room or wet towels on the bed or food smears all over the kitchen. Once I walked into a room to find seven towels soaked in brown liquid just piled on the carpet. Don't talk to me about all the sticky white stains on the couch cushions after valentine's day. My chief engineer came in wearing a full coverage suit with biohazard bags just in case.
Nobody's asking you to scrub your room, but maybe leave sopping wet towels on tile or in the tub, or put things in the provided trashcans, or if an emergency happens let us know, or, idk, toss one of the extra provided sheets over the couch if you're gonna fuck on it.
