PSA MID Mac Right-Click *FIX* (No Spoilers)
Hey kids! I saw that a lot of Mac users mentioned that they can’t play the game without an exterior mouse because of the right-click issue. BUT YOU CAN.
Here’s what to do:
Open System Preferences
Select Trackpad
Point & Click tab
Enable “Secondary Click”
Select “Click in bottom right corner”
This will create a right-click option in the bottom-right section of the trackpad. It is VERY bottom-right, so be sure that you’re going deep into the corner before you determine if it’s working or not (test it in normal computer usage before trying it in game). It’ll be a little awkward within the game, since you’ll have to click in the bottom corner and then hold it while you use the rest of the trackpad to look, but it’ll make the game playable for those who are still stuck in the first room!
For those in the market for a cheap external mouse (Mac or PC), I really want to recommend the wireless Jelly Comb mouses on Amazon! They’re very inexpensive and have a little wireless buddy that plugs right into the USB port (no driver installation needed!). They work right out of the box - all you need is one AA battery.
