Composting is a good way give back to the environment. Composting things like egg shells, or banana peels can help grow your garden or your flower bed.

Food scraps and garden waste combined make up more than 28% of what people throw away. To prevent this, I've made a list of things you can do in your very own backyard

Find a bin to put compost in. any bin will work

Use both green and brown compost. greens are for nitrogen and browns ae for carbon.

Use oxygen and water. decomposers like worms will be vital to compost materials. encourage decomposers to your compost bin by watering it and making air holes.

Get a good size for your bin. any size will work, but 3 foot cubes are the best

Find a good location. Dry and shady places are the best for composting. If you live in a wet area, place your bin under cover.
