Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein receives the Count Jack Rouge Award in its first edition in recognition of the efforts of the "Generations of Peace" Board in Belgium.
The ceremony saw the presence of HRH Princess Zeina Al-Faisal, and HRH Princess Aisha bint Faisal, alongside Her Royal Highnesses; Prince Laurent, and Princess Louise of Belgium, amid the presence of the LAFT of a number of diplomatic and sporting personalities around the world.
His Highness Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Generations of Peace Organization, received the Count Jack Rouge Award in its first edition, during a high-level formal ceremony held at the Town Hall in Ghent, Belgium, making the body the first to be awarded this prestigious international honor.
The selection of the "Generations of Peace" body for this award came unanimously by the members of the jury, in recognition of its pioneer approach to taking sport as a fundamental focus and driver first for building peace and converting conflicts; the body highlighted its vision of volunteering sports as a learning tool to build resilience and promote community cohesion, supported by supportive programs including dialogue, and advocacy (win) Endorsement), empowerment, media, to create a tangible and sustainable social impact.
