Lumi is a very beautiful and graceful albino mouse with a hauntingly ethereal singing voice. She was born and raised in Vaudeville; however, when she was 18 and the Quite Big Affair already happened, her father died in the war and when the evil Lord Archibald sent his henchmen to kidnap the young girl, her mother died while protecting her and the poor girl got kidnapped and taken to the Pristine Kingdom somewhere in the Old World, where she was held prisoner for a few years. Then one day, when Lumi was in her late 20's, she managed to escape the evil lord's clutches and ended up in the Big Mouse Party's airship, where she met Milford Soyer, who constantly insisted that she sang for him. At first, Lumi refused to sing for him, which resulted in her being locked up in an elegant-looking prison cell as punishment; then the next day, she met Professor Von Harzer and his cousin Hilda and while Lumi was creeped out by the mad scientist's evil laughter despite his attempts to be cordial with her, Hilda was easily able to befriend her. Then as a couple of days passed by, Milford decided to invite her to his BMP-sponsored banquet for dinner, during which Hilda was able to pick out a beautiful gown for her.; in addition, Milford also slowly fell in love with Lumi, who quickly reciprocated. Then one day, a certain gun-toting mouse detective broke into the airship and rescued her, thinking that she was in danger; however, little did he and his allies know that she and Milford were deeply in love with each other. Then when the Big Mouse Party members (accompanied by Milford) came to retrieve her, Milford invited our heroes over to play a particular game in which they would split into three teams and fight certain BMP members while Milford would pretend to hold Lumi hostage and end up fighting against Cornelius, who was disguised as Jack Pepper. Then one day, when Lumi learned that Lord Archibald sent his forces to kidnap her again, Milford quickly sent her to her old prison cell in an attempt to protect her; however, one of Archibald's henchmen were able to pick the lock on her prison doors, she she quickly grabbed the potion that Hilda had gifted to her before drinking it, which made her fall into a deep sleep...but that still didn't stop her from being kidnapped again. After finding out about it, Milford and his forces are forced to team up with Jack and his allies in order to travel to the Pristine Kingdom and rescue her, after which Milford (with Jack's help) is able to defeat Lord Archibald; afterwards, Hilda (with the help from Steve and Von Harzer) brewed a potion that would break the sleeping spell over Lumi, after which she then handed it over to Milford, so he would use it to awaken Lumi from her dream-like state.

Her ethereally flowing white gown is inspired by Princess Serenity from the Sailor Moon franchise.
Her prison cell is inspired by Heloise Collins' prison cell from The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T.
Her relationship with Milford is similar to Belle's relationship with Prince Adam from Beauty and the Beast
When Lord Archibald Kensington kidnaps her again, her fate is inspired by Jocelyn Fray's situation in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
The sleeping potion that she drank to protect her secrets from Lord Archibald's evil forces is actually a gift that Hilda gave to her as a token of their friendship.
