“I uh- yeah, yeah. I just- I spilled my coffee on my… well, on everything around me.” Rachel answered Rowan. “But hey, aren’t coffee stains on books kind of cool and hip?” Rachel sighed through a smile looking over at the student for a second. 

“I don’t think an-- anyone says cool and hip those days s-- so I don’t think it is,” she replied, offering the French teacher a kind smile before getting some tissues out of her bag, “here, thi-- this will help dry it faster. Well at least it sh-- should.”

Thankfully I’m assisting, like, one of the sickest teachers– Ms.Renaldi. You don’t have her class? You should see if you can transfer into it or something!

Oh yeah, Mrs. Renaldi i-- is the best, but I don-- don’t think I can transfer this late du-- during the year.

I didn’t really expect my first task of being the new gym teacher to be pumping up a load of balls alone in a storeroom at the back of the gym, but I guess I can’t complain. Better than tidying up locker rooms or something equally as boring and tedious. Maybe I can actually get outside at some point today.

Y-- you could always ask one the students to do it fo-- for you, especially if it’s someone in de-- detention.
