Eventually, a tender bond of friendship forms between them, and Vi shows the naive Caitlyn that the Undercity is very different from what she was taught on the Surface from an early age. But when a tragedy occurs that separates them, Caitlyn decides to join the Enforcers and change things for the better in the Undercity. Will she and Vi ever see each other again?
