♡Apology and hiatus announcement ♡

To everyone who saw my posts yesterday, I want to apologize for my actions. Yesterday, I made the poor decision to use Tumblr Blaze to promote a vent post about an ex of mine and a very personal situation between us. In hindsight, that was inappropriate. After reading responses asking questions like “Why did you post this?” and “Why did you Blaze this?”, I extinguished the Blaze campaign, deleted the original post, briefly remade it, and then deleted that as well. Even without the Blaze campaign, it was wrong for me to share a private issue on a public platform instead of dealing with it privately. I let my emotions take over, and I take responsibility for that. The situation left me feeling angry, hurt, and confused. After ending our relationship and not speaking to me for almost ten years, they reached out again after their mother passed away, wanting to reconnect romantically, even though I’m in a new relationship. I struggled to process this and reacted without thinking. At the time, I thought it was okay to vent publicly because they aren’t on Tumblr, don’t follow this blog, and I never mentioned their name. But that didn’t make it right. Looking back, I see I was overwhelmed and looking for sympathy, but that doesn’t excuse sharing something so personal. I wasn’t handling things healthily or respectfully.I’ve also realized I’ve spent too much time online since starting this blog. Over the past year, I’ve used this space to process my mental health struggles, and many of you have shown me a lot of kindness and support. But I let that support blur the line between what should stay private and what’s okay to share. That’s my responsibility.From now on, I want to be more careful about what I share here. Not every thought or frustration should be posted online, especially when it involves someone else’s private life. I’ll take more time before posting and ask myself if something is really meant for a public platform or if it should stay private.Because of this, I’ll be stepping away from Tumblr for the next three months. I clearly need some distance from here and need time to work on myself, my mental health, and how I use the internet. I believe taking a break is the right thing for me to do now.

To anyone I made uncomfortable or disappointed, I’m truly sorry. I made a poor decision and take full responsibility. I hope that when I come back, I’ll be in a better place and have a clearer sense of where boundaries should be.

Thank you to everyone who called me out, even if it was hard to read. I needed that reality check.
