With the weather getting colder, and all the new people coming in on both sides of things, I wanted to gently remind everyone that self-care is so important, especially this time of year. Doing your best to remain as stress-free as possible, keeping up on taking daily vitamins, and keeping yourself bundled and warm in these temperatures are going to be crucial. Stress distresses the immune system, which leaves your body less able to deal with any viruses or bacteria that may enter. That point ties in to the importance of vitamins. An all encompassing vitamin is good, though I usually like to pair with fish oil, and look for extra sources of iron, and vitamins C and D. Your body helps you every day, in all sorts of ways, so it should be important to help it, too. Making sure you stay warm is an important topic to address as well. While cold temperatures do not make you sick, over-exposure of certain body parts certainly can. Keeping ears covered, hands covered, and feet protected in warmth will help a ton to fight any chills or illnesses that may come your way this season. If anyone is in need of any vitamins, tea, or anything of the sort, I will do my best to assist. Stay safe out there, friends.Â
