Some hcs about my MLB oc:
His name is Sean McNulty.
He’s a professional footballer who plays with PSG.
He’s a defender, think Haaland build except he’s Irish.
He’s secretly engaged to Alec.
Bob is Alec’s manager and won’t let them be publicly engaged.
Initially Sean was a bit of a brute who made some kind of rude comments about Alec’s perceived gayness during an interview.
It got Alec akumatized.
Ladybug and Chat Noir confronted him while saving him from the akumatized Alec and he admitted that he thought Alec was a handsome guy and was trying to find out whether or not he swung that way.
My guy is rlly bad at talking to people he finds attractive.
It doesn’t help that because of his build and his loud accent, a lot of people assume that he’s a brute before he even says anything.
He ends up asking Alec on a date after he gets de-akumatized.
Alec says yes and the rest is history.
Sean does not get along with Bob Roth at all and thinks that he’s an asshole.
His open hatred for the tiny man has resulted in a lot of fights between him and Alec.
He also isn’t a fan of how Bob treats his son Xy.
In my universe Bob loses custody of him and Sean is on those adoption papers faster than you can say Olé.
They keep him out of the public’s eye the best they can but he absolutely insists on going to watch all of Sean’s matches.
When Xy starts dating Luka, Sean makes the worst first impression ever because he’s nervous and not good at talking to people.
Both Xy and Luka get akumatized but break out of it when Sean apologizes and hugs them both.
He was still banished to the couch though.
Alec likes to joke that he’s still being socialized.
Upload schedule for my Disney Villain fanfic
So I'm in the middle of going through the motions of a first draft (yes, still, I'm putting in a lot of effort this time) and figured I'd give ya'll a rough upload schedule for the chapters + some tidbits on the characters in the lead up to the first chapter being uploaded.
So...
Chapter 1- September fourth, then weekly uploads every Friday until the first fic is complete. There shouldn't be much more than fifteen chapters. Hopefully...
After fic one, I hope to upload a sequel fic with more villains and Disney couples.
Then maybe like a prequel one with some niche villains that I just really like, plus some one-shots with my favs.

Gil learns how to cook and crochet and makes jay new hats and socks all the time. Jay keeps all of them.

“Dead Dove: Do Not Eat” is too often (incorrectly) used as a cover-all tag, on fics ranging from Vaguely Uncomfortable to Serious Shit, as a replacement for any intense tags relating to the story. People will use it to say “Holy shit guys some INTENSE SHIT happens in this story” without actually saying what that Intense Shit™ is.
In actuality, the “Dead Dove” tag is meant to be used in addition to other warning tags. Pulled from a scene from the show Arrested Development (look it up on YouTube!), it means “Hi! Hey! I labeled this fic to warn you of what’s in it, so you might REALLY want to read those labels! This fic is exactly what it says on the tin! The tags are accurate! Don’t say I didn’t warn you, because this is me warning you! Read the tags!”
So before you accidentally use the “Dead Dove: Do Not Eat” tag without context, here’s your preemptive lesson for next time. Please tag your fics accordingly! Ta!

writing fanfics has made me go out of my way to learn things and do deep research in ways no colleges, exams, jobs or other projects ever could. yes, it’s a hobby. but it’s also my love and passion. next time you say “fanfics are an unserious activity for kids”, I will actually bite you. no ma’am, while kids certainly can enjoy writing fanfics, it’s sleep-deprived adults — with jobs and responsibilities, bills to pay, kids to raise, animals to take care of, battles to fight — who have built the fanfic community and always been the backbone of it since day one.
