fun fact about Ash is that his preffix translates into Popielny or Popielaty, which in polish mean the same, Popielny is not that common tho and while researching all of that and translating it i found out that there is a plant that in polish is called Starzec Popielny (literally translation an ashy??ashen?? elder) but in english is called silver ragwort either way i had to put it somewhere in his design

Ash is wearing poppy flowers, which his sister loves and wears herself, mallow flowers, because of his wife and botch leaves and flowers of the silver ragwort plant, which are also worn by Crow

Also this part will contain some of my personal issues, so please, read only if you want to, and of course these issues cover those mentioned in the CW

So as said previously i love these two cats, especially Shrike.I have a habit of giving my ocs part of my problems, or my interests and i guess both Oriole and Shriek were unfortunately blessed with my depression, anxiety, autism spectrum(only Shrike tho, both in positive and negative way) and abandonment issues.Their story (which is only in my head ofc) is basically them working through all those awful problems and hurtful tendencies together.When i first created them they were always a couple like i can't imagine these two apart, both working very hard to help the other and being there for eachother.

Shrike is the one whos got my autistic spectrum and just like me her special interests are fossils, its difficult to show that in warriors universe but she loves collecting all sorts of rocks, feather and stuff and Oriole loves to listen to her yap about them.Her depression hit her in a young age of just 7 moons old, she grew up without her parents in a abandoned animal shelter which was plagued with rabies and for the story sake let's say that people left it for some time and then returned to kill the remaining animals.Not all of them were ill and Shrike knew it, but just out of her own instinct she flew for her life leaving her friends to die.Which obviously left her absolutly devastated once she realized what she did.The survivors guilt and feeling like a traitor held her for many years until she finally with help of Oriole and some other clan cats learned to live with it and JUST GO .Idk idk

Some time later these two will have two kittens, which both of them really wanted, it took some time to make that decision though, but after knowing that they both are mentally stable for kids they decided that they can "give someone a beautiful childhood that we never experienced" :333

Her scars even though aren't the same as mine also represent part of me, it was just easier for me to draw them this way rather than whatever is going on with me

id love to talk more about Oriole but honestly it was very tiring to write all this down, sorry for this mess and sorry if it is difficult to read and understand im trying my best lmaoo

i got emotional over all of this and over drawing shrike in such a long time, she went through many redesigns and name changes.Just to kind of clarify all my warriors ocs in my head, in my daydreams are actually people but im not gonna draw a human as it for some weird ass reason makes me feel awkward and uncomfortable but i also love drawing cats so thats that
