I personally really like it because I'm into some pretty niche fashion that is an absolute pain to find in physical stores, and I'm also size 10 which doesn't help in the hunt either. I exclusively wear shirts with collars so no T-shirts, will not wear any greige, will not touch shien and also is picky about skirt lengths, short lengths and trouser/jean cuts. The last one is fairly straightforward in shops, never needed to look on Vinted for those (but also 4 pairs of jeans go a long way in terms of styling and I haven't felt the need to replace them yet) but trying to find knee length skirts is way harder than it should be. There are shops that sell them, but they're mostly aimed towards older women and are kinda ugly, certainly not worthy of being poofed up and worn lolita style. I'm very picky when it comes to short lengths cause I only have 1 pair of shorts and I like that shape and that shape only. It's like mid thigh: not knee length and not short shorts. Even on Vinted it's a struggle to find due to the lack of terminology and filters to describe that specific cut (at least to my knowledge) but it's certainly easier than looking on shop websites (and cheaper). I don't care that much about shorts though as I find skirts more comfy and more stylish but they're a good staple to have when it's 30*C outside and you just wanna chuck something on.

The big tech companies are starting to lose money in stock value and South Korea is in a bit of a mess right now so ever since I heard the news earlier this week, I jokingly said we should throw a party to celebrate AI's demise (everyone in my family is very anti-AI) so we did. It was small and consisted of party food like mini pizzas and prawn toast while trance music played on my CD player but my family had a good time so it doesn't matter. My parents even did the alcohol toasting thing. I love my family :)

My PSVita arrived in the post today! I bought it for £141 off ebay from a Japanese seller (white is an exclusive colour there) and it turned up a few hours before I needed to leave to spend the long weekend with my grandparents. I downloaded a few games after homebrewing it and played through Danganronpa 1 while on the car ride. I've also played Rayman Origins and I like how you can do it the smooth way or the clunky way and you'll still end up on the other side in some way, shape or form. I'm gonna just copy and paste what I said in a Newgrounds forum post about this because I'll be re-itterating myself anyway so might as well.

For a 2011 console, it looks way newer in terms of design than it looks. The only obvious signs that this is an old console is the UI having too much personality and it not being the size of a mini fridge. The screen looks like the kind on late 2010s smartphones and still holds up well I think if you're playing it at an acceptable distance. Something I noticed off the bat is how well it fits in the hand. I was playing quite a bit today and my hands didn't cramp. Meanwhile on my 3ds due to the small size, I've found that my fingers can become cramped. It also fits in my hands well due to the rounded edges, perfect thickness and the way the back is shaped. I also like the welcome park pre-installed tech demo cause it's fun to dick around with the microphone.

In terms of homebrewing, that was the first thing I did once I had set it up. Took about an hour and I mostly followed some article step by step. Cause it's a 1000, I needed to do the whole partition thing which was a bit of a faff but it's nice that I didn't have to keep swapping the SD about from console to computer. I'll give it a custom theme eventually but I can't be asked cause the theme manager app sucks so I'd have to fiddle with the SD card.

Tetris Ultimate is better on 3ds: the music is better, the look of the tetrimonos are better, the mii heads are funny and also the 3ds' D pad feels better for that kind of game (playstation D pads are always kinda mushy). Still though, it's always good to have tetris on hand cause you never know when the urge will strike.

The only nitpick I can think of (apart from the bits of dirt stuck in annoying places to clean) is the charger that it came with is so unbelievably stiff that it's impressive. At least the battery life is decent. I don't think it's been used that much cause when I was setting it up initially, the date was automatically set at 2013. When I had to set it up again due to something in the SD2Vita process, the date was set to today, implying the possibility that this hasn't been used in 13 years. Makes me wonder what kind of life this console had back in Japan with it's original owner.
