As a Max/RBR fan I was totally prepared for a penalty or even more since it just seemed so slam dunk to me. Especially for impeding Yuki. Figured it would be a good idea as well to take some new parts and change the setup while we're at it, but "??????"

It really doesn't seem right. Like usually I don't see a big issue with AT being a sister team, but the fact that Yuki didn't even appear seems really bizarre and actually like some interference happened sadly.

Together with another racist take from Helmut this really isn't a great week for the team. Which makes me feel bad for otherwise so many lovely people who work for Red Bull likely getting lots of shit thrown at them again. No doubt Max as well 😔🫣

Edit: It seems an AT representative (Yuki) wasn't invited by the FIA rather than not showing up themselves. Same happened between Aston Martin and Williams with the former not being invited. So it seems consistent within this weekend however not compared to other weekends (e.g. Pierre and Charles getting penalties for similar impeding moments). On the other hand Carlos also got away with impeding in another weekend...so tl;dr rather than really criticizing Red Bull here, once again the issue is mostly the FIA being inconsistent when upholding the rules!

First of all, yes you absolutely need an amazing car too however this is still absolutely not an easy feat. But if someone is capable of breaking records Max is certainly one of those guys. Even before F1 he was a record breaker and winning so many races in karting and junior autosports too.
