eridan: tries to save his ex-moirail by asking her to team up with him with the enemy because he sees its their only hope for survival, is attacked verbally by sollux AND her, duels sollux injuring him then is charged at head-first with a weapon by feferi with intent to kill/maim, and retaliates

eridan: /most likely/ destroys the matriorb and hurts kanaya due to his built-up aggression, on top of aforementioned murderous urges prompted by past experiences, his blood color, his SUSPECTED mental illness, AND the fact that a person he considered an incredibly good friend of his (kanaya) is staring him down with a weapon in her hand before charging at him with said weapon

eridan: past self gets screamed at by karkat, another person he considered a close friend, for things he isn’t aware of and hasn’t even done yet, called retarded and a backstabbing murderer, then told that the next time he sees him, karkat will literally kill him (“CG: I CAN’T STAND TO LOOK AT YOUR DUMB PURPLE WORDS ANYMORE.
