Hello swifties! I’m @betablockertay from twitter and I’m a pharmacy student and I’m humbly asking for donations to purchase a secondhand laptop for my online classes. Online classes have already started but my 7 year old laptop is not functioning anymore and I’m struggling to find funds for it. This is me trying

I know this wasn’t the intention of the song, but I was listening to it on the way to my counseling appointment.

While we were talking, I was mentioning all the unhealthy ways I was coping with moving, having a new job, the stress, and everything that comes with that.

She said, “you need to give yourself some grace. These may not be the best ways to cope, but this is you trying. You are trying to deal with unknown situations. This is you trying.”

This is me trying.

Those words resonate with me and remind me to let ease on the reigns I have for my life because I’m trying. At least I’m trying. And eventually I’ll find ways that are healthy to cope with all of this, but for now I’m trying.
