BIOGRAPHY !
Kira Jones Warwick was named after both her mother and her father, although she always went by the name KJ. She was a rough and tumble kid, always scraping her knees on the sidewalk or falling down the stairs. If not for the guidance of her grandfather's stories, she may very well have ended up in far more dangerous situations—but with a single KJ would you like to hear a story?, he was able to slow her down, get her to sit, and listen. It was that love of stories, particularly fairytales, that led KJ to studying creative writing and eventually getting a job in a publishing house. She remembers the night she met her husband vividly. It was at an author event by her publishing house and he was a prospective author. The two immediately hit it off and on a trip to Vegas the two got married. Unfortunately, after the marriage, the relationship soured and eventually Lewis left on a European book tour and bought a villa in Spain.
Eloise May and Imogen June were born nearly three hours apart. While Eloise was ready, Imogen took her time. KJ named them after both her mom and grandmother—giving them matching middle names May and June based on their birth order. Being a single parent was tough, but she was thankful her publishing house had childcare and she was able to rely on her parents to help. As much as Eloise was a wild card, Imogen was easier. She slept when she was supposed to, ate when she was supposed to, and rarely cried. Meanwhile, Eloise was louder and much more demanding. The were opposites in every way. Growing up together meant that it was the two of them against the world. As they grew, they tried to make their mom's life easier. Imogen trying to rein her sister's more wild ideas in whenever she could. It seemed like Eloise was cut from the same cloth as her mother—and Imogen was more like her grandfather. For the first few years of their life, Lewis tried to stay in touch, but as his books became more popular, he slowly stopped calling as often until one day his calls only came once a year on their birthday. Despite this, KJ never spoke bad about them—saying they were two soulmates that met in the wrong lifetime.
The Adventures May Day and June Bug was a series Eloise started. Only the two of them were allowed to call each other that. The story started out innocently. Two sister's sharing adventures with each other. Eloise had gotten her mother's love of stories and her father's love of writing. Secretly, Imogen did too, but she let her sister have all the fun. The book was a series of short stories about a pair of twins getting into trouble. All of it was innocent, sneaking off outside when they were supposed to, pretending to eat their dinners (except dumping them into the garbage disposal when mom wasn't looking), bringing stray cats home (in their defense they didn't know it was the neighbor's cat). May Day and June Bug may have gotten in trouble for some of the adventures they went on, but it was all in good fun. The stories they shared were all worth it when the two of them giggled themselves to sleep well after their bedtime.
It all changed a few weeks after their thirteenth birthday. Eloise had been so excited to be a pre-teen. The two got dressed in their Halloween outfits when they ran into their friends. It was relatively easy to sneak away from the teenager babysitting them, really all they had to do was tell her the girl she liked kept peeking over at her. They promised they'd be fine on their own and wouldn't go further than the end of the street. Of course, they lied and they went towards the abandoned house a few blocks over with their friends. One of Eloise's friends dared her to go in and while Imogen begged her sister not to go, she didn't listen. Imogen watched her sister go into the house—and she never made it back out. They never found a body. Whatever happened to Eloise remained a mystery. Police ruled it a kidnapping, as the only thing they found was the pillow case of candy. Imogen considered The Adventures of May Day and June Bug officially over, packed into a box in the attic.
For a year, KJ stayed in their home, but whisper always seemed to follow them. When Imogen was fourteen, her mom moved them to Aurora Bay, which wasn't that far away they'd never see their grandparents again, but far enough away Imogen could enroll at a new school. KJ's job let her work remotely—only occasionally making her come into the office for a meeting. It didn't take long for them to adjust to the life in Aurora Bay. Imogen made new friends and thrived in the new town. Although her sister was always on her mind, she felt like she was a bit of her own person now. The cautious person she was didn't seem like a hinderance to her life. She joined clubs and went out with friends to the movies. Imogen reestablished a relationship with her father—strained and distrusting at first. He sent her letters and photos from his travels. He met someone new, an Australian woman that despite her initial disinterest became a confidant. for Imogen, someone she could go to when she didn't want to talk to her mom. Aurora Bay felt like a fresh start.
College had been an argument with her mother. Imogen didn't want to go at all. She needed a gap year, wanted to visit her father and new step brother. Her one gap year turned into three and just before her 22nd birthday, Imogen returned home to Aurora Bay and enrolled in college. Her mother and grandparents were happy she returned. She'd never admit that she was also glad to return. The years she'd spent with her step-mother had sparked an interest in geology—the same field her step-mother worked in. She got a job as a front desk attendant to earn money while she was in school because she's hoping for her senior year to move out into her own apartment.
HEADCANONS !
She wears a friendship bracelet that she and Eloise made together—with hers saying best on it.
Imogen moved the box of stories her and Eloise wrote together into the attic when she left to visit her dad.

“ oh that sounds very sort of romantic. Also those are both very beautiful places “ hutch noted as if he had actually traveled. He didn’t travel really at all. At least not out of California. “ no I imagine it’s quite different. I think LA gets a bad reputation sometimes but I do like walking around in LA. I like being able to go to a bunch of museums and then go down the street and end up at the Original Farmers Market but then walk further down the street and end up at the Melrose Trading Post. All of these sort of popular and fun things in the area are actually so close. “
“ yeah cause i would hate for someone to end up in trouble cause of me “ hutch nodded before glancing back. “ right though it has me curious if there have ever been Uber drivers with my car” @imogenjwarwick
"I guess it's romantic. I think it's cool having a bunch of different homes more than anything else." She was jealous that her brother was going to have that kind of life when she barely interacted with her father growing up. "I don't think my mom would have liked me living in LA. I've stayed here since we moved." Imogen didn't think that she'd leave this town other than visiting her dad. "Big cities are overwhelming, you know. It's not even it's reputation." She didn't like big crowds of people.
"Well I doubt they'd get in trouble. There's ways that the company can tell what happened. Like GPS trackers and whatnot. So I don't think anyone will get into trouble." She hoped not. "I don't know why someone would want to drive for Uber with a car like that."
While Imogen didn't like large crowds, she did enjoy summer holidays. Of course she wanted to go to the carnival with Dom. "Can we go on the ferris wheel next?" Imogen stuck out her bottom lip as she looked up at Dom. She squeezed his hand. "You can even get a kiss when we stop at the top."
"I advise avoiding the tarot reading. I was told that I'm either going to have a family or money. And neither of those seem like a true genuine prediction." @aurorabaystarter
"Don't worry. I avoid anything spooky." Imogen eyed the stand and shuddered. "None of that stuff is real. My mom was once told that she'd meet the love of her life after a bad event. Not long after something bad did happen and it was my dad that found love, so yeah." There was more to it than that.
"I think my mom was more religious when I was younger. We went to church with my grandparents all the time. But that stopped after I turned 13. I'm personally not spiritual either, but I find some of the intentions kind of nice."

"I would guess that it would have more to do with the insulation of the layers than any actual physical exherition," Demi says with a laugh, "Unless you're doing something impressive -- like cross-country or flips or whatever. Otherwise, skiing is just as much of a workout as sex is."
Good sex, to be more specific.
"Really? That seems premature to call it cold after a year. Was there not much evidence?"
Imogen nodded. She still didn't think that she'd ever try skiing. She liked warm weather far too much to ever go do something in the snow. Although that could change. "Well, I wouldn't really know about either," she shrugged. Imogen had never been skiing before and she was sort of waiting for a good relationship before sleeping with someone.
"I think my mom wanted them to close it. It was... hard. I mean seeing my face every day. We had the same face. I know it was difficult. Plus... there wasn't any evidence at all."
He smiled in response. As long as she wasn't hating her time there, then everything was alright. It was only a dorm party so the second it got late into the evening, people would start heading out to hit the clubs instead. This offered a nice little pregame for everyone. "I am, I am. I'm also pretty loaded right now. Did you see my post on IG? Well, people are certainly into buying the birthday boy a drink." It definitely helped that he had a large following due to being an athlete. "Will you be able to stay the night?" He was still trying to win over her mother so they could have more time together.
Imogen was not the biggest fan of being in crowded spaces, but she appreciated that Dom asked if she was alright. She didn't mind spending the time with him, to celebrate his birthday. There wasn't that many people here compared to like a club. "I can buy you a drink if you want." The benefits of living at home and having a job was that she did have a good amount of money saved up. Maybe she should be more careful about how much she was spending. "Yeah, I can stay the night." Her mom would probably complain that she came home too late anyway. She may have lied to her mom about spending the night with a different friend in the dorms.
“ really? Australia is so much land. That’s really fascinating “ hutch noted with a small nod as he thought about that sort of thing. “ I know LA can be walkable but it depends where you walk. San Francisco is better for that, plus those hills. They see fun” hutch didn’t travel too much outside of California.
“ yeah I guess so. I feel bad for whoever ends up with my reviews. I don’t think I look like too many people. My siblings obviously but my brother isn’t an Uber driver “ @imogenjwarwick
"Yeah, my dad has a home in Australia and in Spain. Two very different places, but when he moved away from the US, he moved to Spain and then met his Australian wife when she was on vacation." Her dad's second marriage had been one from a romance novel, she was sure of that. "Maybe LA is walkable, but it isn't walkable like Barcelona." She missed getting to spend time in Europe. "I don't think that I'd want to walk around LA. I think that would be a lot. It's big and it's hot." Imogen really liked how Aurora Bay was.
"Hopefully they can get those reviews removed. I mean that's really silly and I know places will do that kind of thing if the situation like that happened." She nodded. "Well, most people probably don't you know drive around in a car like that."
3. Tell us a bit about your muse’s family. Who raised them? Who are they still in contact with? Who do they feel close to?
"My mom mostly raised me. Dad was an absent figure in my life for a long time until my sister disappeared. Obviously, he didn't really raise me or help raise me since he doesn't leave near me, but he was there for financial and emotional support, not physical. I'm still living with my mom, so I do still talk to her most days. Dad and my step mother can be harder to get hold of with the timezone differences, but I do try to talk to them a couple times a week. I think I'm decently close with my family."
"Um, the normal ways, I think. Hand holding, kissing. I text a lot too, asking how their day is going and making sure that someone's comfortable. Depends on if it's a friend or someone more, I think. I don't know that I do anything differently than anyone else."

Syrena was glad that at least someone had agreed with her about it staying up all year long. "There has to be someone we can talk to about this. Pitch the couple of times a week thing." She suggested, still looking around them. "Surely if there is two of us, they will feel pressured to say yes."
"I'm not sure, I'd think someone in the city should know our opinion. I bet everyone feels the same way. Also it would save them from taking it down just to store it and wait to put it back up a different season." Imogen was sure they'd have some lights up during Christmas. "Maybe we could get an army. It's so romantic."
"Hm, I'm thinking some sushi would pair amazing with white wine. So we could order some sushi." Gianna suggested. It was honestly one of her obsession. That and pasta. Anything with seafood in it, honestly. "We could always look at Neptune's menu and I can ask Carter to pick it up for me."
"Ohhhhh. Yes. Let's get sushi." Imogen loved wine and a snack, especially if the snack was something fun like sushi. It had been a while since she'd gotten a chance to eat something other than her mother's cooking. "I think that sounds like a wonderful idea. I don't get to eat fancy food often."
"And this is why I love you." Logan replied without missing a beat, smiling over at her friend as she took another sip of her drink--only to let the straw fall from her lips just seconds later, "Dom, huh?" She teased, knocking her shoulder into hers, "I'm gonna need all the details on that one, Gen. Preferably before the hair tinsel so I don't freak out and make the stylist fuck up."
"What can I say, I'm an enabler." If Logan wanted the cupcakes, then they should also get the cupcakes. What was the harm? They were young and it wasn't every day that she had cupcakes or got to hang out with her friend. "I don't know what there is to say. We've been on one date and then it's mostly just been hanging out to study." Gen scrunched her nose. She wished there was more to say. "But like... I really like him."
Does your muse like to dance? Would they dance with another?
"Dancing is fun, I never took any dance or anything. I wish I did. My mom didn't want me doing anything that was too competitive, which was fine. I don't think I'd have liked dancing. I'll dance with anyone, especially if Dom asked me to dance."

Does your muse like to sing? Would they do a duet?
"I love singing! I'm objectively an okay singer, like not the best but could get away with singing a Taylor song at karaoke. I'd do a duet too, depending on who it was and what the song was. Maybe I can convince Dom do do karaoke with me sometime."
Did your muse have a favourite childhood story or fable?
"No, my sister and I tended to make our own versions of the fairytales and fables we listened to. We had our own story that we were working on two which really was just our adventures together written down. As much as loved reading about Cinderella when I was little, I loved making up my own silly stories with my sister. I miss getting to make up stories with her, but I've never been interested in the publishing industry."
