Summer is fast approaching, one of the busiest times of year in the Lowcountry, but also one of the most fun with an endless amount of activities to choose from. Weâre highlighting our top 5 to put on your calendar, below. Happy (almost) Summer!
1. Palmetto Bluff Summer Concert Series
Round up family and friends for an enjoyable night of live music outdoors on the village greens of Wilson Village and Moreland Village at Palmetto Bluff. $25/car.
When: June 6 (Cranford Hollow), June 20 (Deas-Guyz), July 11 (Tell Scarlet), July 25 (The Bushels), August 8 (Bottles & Cans)
Special note: Proceeds benefit Family Promise of Beaufort County, whose mission is to provide temporary shelter, family stability, and permanent housing solutions for homeless families.

2. Fireworks at HarbourFest
Shelter Coveâs signature summer event featuring a spectacular show that lights up the sky over the marina at Shelter Cove Harbour. A fun, family-friendly event thatâs been enjoyed by thousands of visitors for the last 27 years.

3. Bluffton Sunset Party Series
Sundown celebration with live music on the May River, featuring a food court, vendors, wine bar, beer garden, face painting, Kids Zone and more! $5 for adults, children 12 and under are free.
When: reoccurring with different themes; June 16 (5-9pm), July 20 (5-9pm), July 21 (4-9pm), Sept. 16 (4-8pm)Â
Special note: a percentage of proceeds benefits local Bluffton charities.

4. Last Saturday Lowcountry Bazaar
Enjoy a variety of handcrafted, homemade and homegrown items. Featuring a Bluffton Craft Market, Traditional Livestock Swap, Lowcountry Food Truck Rodeo, Pet Adoption Fair, Plant Swap and Okatie Farmerâs Market!
When: Once a month from June-September; June 24, July 29, August 26, September 30; all from 9am-2pm.

5. May River Shrimp Festival
Get your filling of fresh local shrimp and other seafood during the annual May River Shrimp Festival. $5 for adults, children 12 and under are free.
