Palmetto Bluff’s River House Restaurant
Why is Palmetto Bluff among one of the top U.S. vacation destinations? There are certainly multiple reasons to choose from, but most recently it’s because of its esteemed River House Restaurant.
Last month, at the Ansonborough Inn in Charleston, Palmetto Bluff’s River House Restaurant was honored with a Four Diamond Award from the American Automobile Association (AAA) South Carolina. While more than 2,000 properties nationally earn Four Diamond ratings, the River House Restaurant at Palmetto Bluff was just one of 15 restaurants in South Carolina to receive such recognition – and was the only restaurant in Bluffton included on the South Carolina AAA Four Diamond list.
While other restaurants have received recognition multiple times, such as the Old Fort Pub on Hilton Head Island for the past 14 years, this marks the first time the River House Restaurant has received a AAA Four Diamond Award – and it’s not difficult to understand why.
Offering a menu full of dishes prepared with fresh, organic and local ingredients – such as oysters, scallops, salmon, duck and lamb – it is a truly authentic Lowcountry and Southern dining experience. So, if you’ve never been, or if it’s your first time vacationing on Palmetto Bluff, now is the time to go!
Palmetto Bluff’s River House Restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday from 6pm-9:30pm for dinner; 3pm-10pm with a bar menu, and offers cocktails from 2pm-11pm Monday-Sunday.
