Be careful, sister.

They will praise you as if you are rare, but only to claim you like something they’ve earned. And when you stop filling the emptiness they never learned to face, they will leave. What’s worse, they may not leave gently. They may tear through you without knowing it, ripping pieces of your heart ,small, sacred things and tossing them out into the wind as if they never held weight. And you’ll try, God knows you’ll try, to gather the scraps, to hold yourself together with hands that were never taught how to catch grief. But some pieces…some pieces won’t come back. They will be lost to the air, carried off by a silence that does not return what it takes.
