Rosicrucian Fellowship Mount Ecclesia
Emerald river dance with such velvety grace to the rhythm of the Earth And every beat reveals magic pathways of light where each seeker finds rebirth
Listen to the bleating absence of sound and you will hear what is And you will hear what is And you will hear what is
And Nature ever favors softness like grass growing gently through cement And softness often thrives where brutality lies, in a shroud of Death's foul scent
Listen to the bleating absence of sound and you will hear what is And you will hear what is And you will hear what is It seems like everyone's so afraid of emotion cause they can't bear the pain But the deeper sorrow carves in the heart of your being the more joy you can contain
Listen to the bleating absence of sound and you will hear what is And you will hear what is And you will hear what is And you will hear what is...

orthodox tewahedo christianity
tewahedo (ge'ez: ተዋሕዶ täwaḥədo) is a ge'ez word meaning “being made one” or “unified”, cognate to arabic توحيد, tawḥīd. this word refers to miaphysitism, the oriental orthodox belief in the one single unified nature of christ; i.e., a belief that a complete, natural union of the divine and human natures into one is self-evident in order to accomplish the divine salvation of humankind.

Claudio Monteverdi (1567-1643) composer of L’Orfeo, the earliest surviving opera still regularly performed.
On Fragmentary Fame.
What we remember, how we remember it, vs. how ancient poets may have expected to be remembered.
In classical studies, we talk a lot about kleos and a lot about memory being preserved for thousands of years, but that doesn’t happen for every author. Texts get lost due to decreasing popularity or dumb chance or both.
For many authors, we don’t even have fragments left. Often kleos fades away. A scary thought, but an honest one. Time eats and litters as it marches on.

I know Titian’s genius is well established but I’m still baffled by the amount of personality he can express through eyes. Playful, sharp, sinister, curious, carrying a heavy burden... you can tell a lot about the human behind the painting by just looking into their eyes.
