i am a very firm believer that the colors of koriand’r and komand’r (hair & bolts)  should be a direct correlation to their personality, overall moral scope, & eternal rivalry.

starfire: in essence & on the color spectrum, koriand'r will always embody warm-tones. her bolts & contrails will take on reds, pinks, oranges, yellows, even branching towards brighter magentas & purples in all her energy outputs. at her core, she resembles a sunset: the casting of light & energy on a grander scope., therefore that is what she embodies in her visage & interests. clothing is always bight and popping, as well as the embellishments on her armor and royal jewelry. (sample colors below) ...

blackfire: in essence & on the color spectrum, komand'r will always embody cool-tones. her bolts range from deep greens, ocean blues & heavy violets / almost black. [but unlike her sister, komand'r cannot fly... so she will never possess a contrail.] komand'r also does not possess the standard tamaranean hair color, hers resembles deep violet, almost blue black, with some deep red / amber highlights. she is the absence of light, a void that hungers for nothing & everything at the same time. this is also reflected in her attire & overall aesthetic, ... jewels often radiate purples & greys & don't stray far from either hue. Koriand’r is hopelessly devoted to any & everyone that finds themselves in her orbit,  so much so that most people with avoidant attachment styles steer clear of her entirely.  It can be overbearing, overwhelming to have someone this devoted & loyal to you at your side constantly. She does, however, respect distance, maybe a little too literally at times, but she's pure of heart.

She’s very romantic.  Her partners become her driving force to the point where it can / will seem overbearing.  her partners needs become her needs,  their wants are hers,  and their purpose is well…  you get the picture. It’s not a healthy way to be,  she understands that,  but her love is paramount——it's something not even an steadfast will & the vacuum of space will allow her to shake.

PDA! PDA! PDA! truly a sucker for showing affection in all ways: nicknames, hugs, kisses, inside - jokes, light touches, etc, etc, etc.

I need to mention that commitment DOES scare her despite how quickly she allows herself to be pressured / swayed into it.  Everyone she has ever loved her has either left her to ‘better themselves’, hurt her in ways beyond repair, or passed away.  It’s hard for her to accept that closeness can & will bring hurt because she knows love ISN’T supposed to hurt,  her mother taught her as such.  She'd rather stop it before it stops.

Kori teeters on the cusp of demi-sexuality:  she needs to form an emotional bond with someone a person in order to engage sexually:  though this bond doesn’t have to be romantic   …   most of the time, they aren’t.  Platonic friends that she would risk her life for are as likely to wind-up in her bed as a lover would, it's trust she seeks & when she has trust, passion will soon follow close behind.

Visuals of Koriand'r's Starbolts: Concentrated Solar Energy sent out in ( concussive beams, blasts, balls, forcefields, rings, waves.. etc ). Varied in temperatures but can reach past the temp. of the Milky Way's sun [10,000 Fahrenheit (5,600 Celsius).] Prone to color changes depending on climate, energy output, mood, & temp. --- mostly known to be a warm magenta or bubblegum pink, but can be violet or cherry - red. Can emit blasts from her hands, feet, minor blasts from her eyes & a colorful contrail when she takes flight. Bolts are varied in forms of matter - can take on solid, liquid, gas & even plasma forms. They also don't have to be destructive. Starfire has shown her powers as regenerative, able to spark the regrowth of plant - life in a dead forest, start up old / broken down machinery, & even heal small wounds.
