With nearly one in four young Europeans unemployed, the EU needs to look harder for solutions. The European parliament wanted to hear suggestion from those directly involved: young people. On 6-8 November 2013, the Parliament hosted the Agora event, inviting young workers and job seekers from across the EU to debate how youth unemployment should be tackled. 

You have finished your studies. You are motivated, open-minded and a team player. But you are unemployed. This applies to many young Europeans. Watch the video to see, how the youth guarantee can give you a chance.

This is what the Franco-German television network ARTE intends to explain through the "World of Work" - an interactive workshop examining young people's employment expectations and their views on the current job market. European Youth Media Days 2014 Special edition: Voice of Youth. From May 8 to 11 2014, 120 young journalists from across the European Union will gather at the European Youth Media Days which this year exceptionally takes place in Strasbourg. Thousands of young Europeans have now applied to take part in the European Youth Event (#EYE2014) in Strasbourg in May. For all those who won’t have the chance to attend physically, there will be several other ways to follow and participate in the event online.
