The rinhime wip concept I'm rotating rn would address this question pretty well actually, but it's very much in the fetal stage and the details are not solidified. The prompt is 'Rinne and Himeru pull a 'Rinne scheme' together'

Rinne tricks Himeru into thinking the job is legit - with the goal of putting Himeru on the spot to test his skills at... illicit activities (wrt merumeru's newly confirmed criminal history). Rinne intentionally gets them swept up in a dangerous situation where meru won't be able to hold back and has to show him what he's really capable of 👀...
I've been tiptoeing around implying that Himeru has done his share of sordid activities before becoming an idol for a while now:

Bonus: I listened to meru's solo too much last night and imagined Rinne finding Himeru working late alone in the recording booth. Rinne got so horny listening to him sing that he jumped him and they fucked in the recording booth 😏
💤 Who has the weirdest sleep-talking lines that the other quotes constantly?
The sleep talking bit works really well for both of them.
🎰: Rinne would be such a hilarious sleep talker. I can imagine him rambling silly bee one liners like he's dreaming he's on stage or ordering absurd combinations of food from Niki or making questionable noises bc he's having a sex dream. If Meru observes any of this he can have an unguarded smile while thinking about how cute Rinne is since there are no conscious witnesses to notice his softness.
(Rinne does have nightmares about his dad, but they're silent).
🎭: Meru is the opposite. On the rare occasions he gets deep sleep his reoccurring dreams are of Kaname's accident or visions of gloomy hospital rooms, beeping heart monitors, and a pale emaciated unmoving body identical to the one he sees in the mirror. Himeru's sleep talking is anxiously whimpering, repeating Kaname's name and also "I'm sorry" with first person pronouns. If Rinne observed this he would assume Kaname was an ex lover and would try to tease Himeru about it. Naturally that leads to a nasty fight.
👀 Who gets jealous more easily & how obvious are they about it?
I'm glad to get the chance to babble about this one since I've implied Himeru feels jealous of how Rinne interacts with his Seisoukan roommates in both of my recent rinhime fics.
My interpretation isn't that Himeru feels romantic jealousy for Rinne, he feels jealous of people who can interact with Rinne openly and casually. Himeru has grown to love his unit mates as his new family, but he's still afraid to show affection to them because he's been programmed for his entire life to show everyone he meets a facade. Himeru wants to act on his feelings of closeness for his unit mates even if his instincts tell him it's a bad idea, but every time he fights against his programming is a struggle.
Himeru thinks his unit mates are fun when he never really had a concept of fun before meeting them. Even if it goes against his programming, he can't help but crave a bit of fun with them. He's jealous of how Kanata and Hiyori interact with Rinne bc they're as carefree and free spirited as Rinne is. They joke around with him, casually touch him, and share smiles like it's the easiest thing in the world.
But for Himeru, it's extremely difficult. That makes him jealous.

This series has like 3 fans so I figured I'd make it easier for people to get into it. The story is told through a series of "movements," CD dramas, and a manga. It also has cute comics, posted on the official Mute Twitter. This list will focus on collecting sources for English speaking fans.
If you don't know anything about the series, you should start by reading this twitter thread by nemuruoogarasu! Feel free to look through the unofficial wiki as well, you can learn a little more about each band and character there. The series is mostly based on the bands and the characters, so pick your favorites :)
After that, listen to some of the songs. I have a playlist compiling them from the official channel here, and I have listed them below as well. There is no specific order you have to listen to them in. Be aware that some of the songs are not uploaded in their entirety, as some have to be purchased through the official drama CDs. The full mp3 files can accessed through amazon.jp.
Story
The story is a bit confusing to follow, and as of writing, not everything has been translated. I will be updating this as often as possible.
Basically, Otogi no Uta is about several bands fighting with special music powers in "Live Battles" against each other. This is in order to obtain "The End," a thing which can grant any wish.
Those who posess music powers are called "Utaibito," which could roughly translate to "Melody User," "Musician," or "Music Person" in english (though I left it as is in the manga).
Comics
As of now, most of the comics are untranslated. They don't follow the main plot, and mainly consist of cute and silly interactions with the characters in their mute forms.
Some mute comics have been translated on the wiki, and most of them can be found on the official Mute Twitter. (I ran out of hyperlinks in this post but they are both linked above.)
A few have also been translated by me and are at the end of each manga chapter.
There is also a series of short comics from the official website explaining some of the concepts in Otogi no Uta. I've translated them here.
Manga
The manga serves as a backstory for each band and character. You should probably get to know the characters a little through the wiki first so you are not completely lost. Each two chapters go over the backstory of how one of the bands formed and what their goal is and set the group dynamics and personalities.
